Thinking of returning to my Ranger roots, but I want to know if Creatures now pack enough of a whallop in your experience(s) to make a viable character who's only offense is based on his pets. Bear in mind that I'm 90% pve.

OR, what would you recommend Ibuy with those last 47 points?

Honestly, I hated MCH/M Ranger. I liked have Area Track a LOT, and I liked throwing down the HTFB, but after Ranger eats up so many sps I was left with nothing for combat, and while I was level 80 I didn't have a single special-attack, only "aimed shot" and "ranged shot." Since I do a lot of PvE hunting and solo work that was crippling for me, so I instead respeced to MCH/ MScout/ MRifles. That way I had a decent camp, several good traps, good harvest bonus and M Scent bonus, but could still kick butt with my T21 when I needed to.

As much as I wanted that dual mastery, and given our inability to tank, I opted for M-CH, and 4440 Ranger, can still do the uber-camp, track, and get as much enhancement as possible for harvesting, terrain, and armor mitigation. The points left over I ramped up into a line of rifleman. The recon armor encumbrance benefits vs. battle armor, and the specials, such as cover and conceal, help in group activities. I'm thinking of dropping it to 0440 Ranger and dropping more into Rifleman, since I use the recon armor of rifles anyway.

It's a good role playing template, but not very useful for high end content (DWB, krayts, etc.)

Edit: It would be helpful if they dropped the full Scout requirements for Ranger, and make it two lines of Scout, similar to other elite professions. Seems Ranger templates are gimped from this over-burdening of skill points.

Management change and credibility is expected & deserved, and really a requirement for me to desire to log in and not have my MMORPG time completely wasted. SWG's mismanagement, ongoing, lacks credibility. I have no desire to log into my toon, attempt to accomplish something, only to find out that my blue zebra, 12th level, with 20 badges, isn't going to be turned into tomorrow's 4th tier yellow monkey, and all the zebra's stuff is no longer of value. Without credibility, its just a duck hunt game that doesn't even keep score of how many shots land on a duck.
