Thread: Status of the Con-circle

I've read something in the forums here that you can see on the con-circle a creature has,
is that creature is elite or not. But i forgot how that works, and i can't find that thread back.
So can someone please explain to me how this works ?

An elite creature is denoted by an up-arrow inside the con circle. However, the CL number makes it hard to make out the arrow, and what you see makes it look more like a darker colored line that runs from the center of the circle to the top of it.

ah i see, thanks for the quick replies.
But the second picture of that elite con is a Nightsister stalker.
So not all elite creatures are tamable ?
An elite creature is just a creature that you see very rarely, right ?

An elite mob is one that has stats that differ from the traditional creature level. Elite status is not tied to rarity or tamability.
Its elite status might be because the creature has more HAM or hits harder, or a combination of the two.
The elite Female Narglatch on Naboo is CL 22, but it has 7k HAM. Most CL 22 mobs have only around 2k HAM. In the event of the Nightsisters, They hit like a truck and have a ton of HAM.
Elite status is an indicator that means the mob is difficult for that CL.
