Well today was my first viewing of SW III *yes, i know, but I had my reasons...*
felt soo sad whenI saw that lovely varactyl fall into the depths... 
I hoped it survived the fall, but that was not important enough to Lucas...
Honestly.. when I saw in action, I was flabbergasted... I can surpress the urge to go out and buy RotW, but I'll be looking for one in-game...

Yeah, I didn't like it when the Veractyl fell, too. It was a shame because I love mine so much and ride it all the time.

That scene saddened me even more than Aayla getting shot in the back. They didn't even show what happened to it after the fall. I like to think he could swim and got out of the pool somewhere else...

I'm sorry to say but in the book, boga does die. d
Also in the book he knew that the clones would betray Obi-Wan and turned, he died an honorable death by saving Obi-Wan...
