Thread: Grouped Pets Not Taking My CL

I've been doing a lot of space mining the last few days, so I hadn't used any pets since before this new publish. So, today I pull out one of my pets, but when I try groupingit retains itslevel of 70instead of taking on my CL of 80. I tried my other pets and got the same results.

Is anyone else getting this problem? Am I bugged?Or is this some stealth nerf the devs slipped in with the publish?

We chatted about this a day or two ago. They do take on the higher CL, they just don't display it.

Ah, that's good. It had me quite alarmed. But I can live with a display bug if it doesn't really affect anything.

Thanks Rasal.

Do you means if I'm CL 80 and use a CL60 pet, the pet will become a CL80 pet?

If yes, what about me calling 3 xCL20 pets, will all 3 turn CL80 too?

Thanks!

Yes, all the pets you group with become your CL.In the sense that the pets won't recieve the penalties a lower level person (or creature) would normallyhave for fighting something way above its CL. The pets' stats and health will not be affected.

It works the same way as the grouping bonus between two or more players. Where everyone takes on the level of the highest CL person in the group.

Thanks for the clarification, I just realise my webmaster (CL62) hits a shear mite brooding (CL69) harder than the mob hits it, I guess the dam oso get enhanced by my CL but HP still stay the same as b4.

Considering the higher hp from CL70 pet, I guess I better replace them with higher lvl pet when possible.

Thanks again!

Yeah, it's the same when you group with other players, you actually see their level now instead of the group level.
