Thread: Anyone else getting cant tame that server messages?

I am a master CH and only carry 13 pets yet I am unable to tame even the lowest level babies - such as keetles, cu pa's, rills, etc. The really stupid thing is I was able to tame 1 baby in the lair then another baby aggro'd me and I got rid of the aggro and tried to tame it again and got the "can't tame that" server message. So i killed the baby and the lair and went to another lair and tried to tame the first low level baby I saw and again got the "can't tame that" server message, heck even the "tame" option isn't even showing up. I had this issue three days ago and like a good boy sent my ticket in, and just got the "canned take two aspirin and call us in the morning" response. (after the issue resolved itself on its own - 2 days later).
Since CSR/devsare either unwilling to help with real issueor focusing on adding new worthless junk like "pet icons for grouping" and not taking care of the realissues- any one have any advice how to resolve this issue - or am i stuck waiting 2 days for this issue to "take care of itself"?

How often do server resets happen?
I just became a new CH last night and happily went off hunting for my first pet ... and I get "Can't Tame That" on a durni. 
I followed your instructions and logged out for a few hours (went to bed) and again this morning, I can't tame durni.

It resets once a day, sometimes. I know in the timezone I am in, it is down at 3pm during the weekdays for about 45 min to an hour.
I know before the CU, if the server was not reset, it would be difficult to find creatures. Lok would be a barren wasteland, you could spend hours searching for kimo's and maybe come up with one or two kimo's. After the server was reset, you could find them all over the place.

I think I found a solution! 
But I need this confirmed by someone.
I had this happen after taming a few babies. All of a sudden I couldn't tame any more ... even those types I had tamed only 5 minutes prior. I tried to mount my speeder and I got the message that I couldn't mount anything at the moment. The taming problem might be linked to more than just babies. I'm thinking that some variables aren't being cleaned up or something.
So, I tried pulling up the radial menu for the speeder, and it thought for a moment before finally coming up. I was then able to double click on the speeder and no problems ... I then tried to tame a baby and it worked!!
So if someone could confirm that method, I'd greatly appreciate it. And if this has been mentioned before, I apologize. The search feature seems to be having problems as well.

ok I am an ex CH, ch at heart only, and just troll ya boards. i've not read the sticky, but about the speeder thing, not able to mount it. It happens when you have a commend pending/qued such as burstrun or something like that, once the command is executed, you are all good. hope this sheds a light on stuff.
