How big are these lesser dewbacks? I hope they're not the size of swarming dewbacks. =P

They are the size of the swarming lesser dewbacks (maybe smaller), and at this point have no resists at all. My Gurreck was dropping them in two swipes, so not too much hp's either. Don't know CL level yet, as I dumped Master Scout a little while back 
I think right now, the best non-CH mounts are the Male Kaadu's, at least until the new level 10 CL comes into effect, then it will probably be the Carrion Spat (unless they add some resists to the new smaller mounts).

They are CL 8 critters full grown, with 900 HAM. Not much of a tank compared to even regular dews which weigh in at 4500.
Got two babies off a mission spawn just outside of Mos Entha last night. Piece o'cake!

sorry if this has been asked before but i am on Tat looking for a Lesser Dewback baby. are they in game yet? i haven't had any luck.

Yes, they are. I found a couple of lesser dewback missions out of Bestine earlier. Very low level missions, only paying like 1300 or so if I remember right.

I've had a number of requests for Dewback mounts, and with the changes to BE I've had to hunt for them. so far I haven't been able to find any, or the ones I find have no lair and they are stnding around.
What is the best place to find them, or my other option is to do the pet trade-in if it will work for a level 17 pet, which is the level of regular dewbacks that I found.

I saw a few lesser dewback lairs when I was messing around NW of Bestine the other day. You might be able to get missions for them off the Bestine mission terminals as well.

I've been trying the last couple days to get a baby lesser dewbackand have had no luck. Has anyone seen one of these lately?

BEs should be cranking out level 10 pets soon, some reliable recipes have beencreated that produce damage oriented and health bar oriented level 10s, and they're public knowledge too.
As for lesser dews, the Jundland Wastes seem to be a prime area for them to spawn. Try a radius of about 1500m from the Lars homestead.
Another area I've found them in wild lairs is along the Mos Espa circuit.
