Thread: Tested wild DL69 GSH -v- BE made DL69 Cu-Pa
Ah, ok, I was not sure if you were referring to a Grassland Slice Hound, or someother critter that has GSH in its name.
(I have no idea how the Grassland Slice Hounds converted, never had any. So, it could have been one.)

This is why I now use only BE pets. Welcome to the new world.
I don't like this new world, when's the next shuttle back to the old one?

GSH? Greater Sludge Hound? Gleaming Swimming Hunter?
Forgive me, but what does it stand for?
A BE is able to experiment on certain aspects of an animal. If the "to-hit" value is high the animal will do more damage (higher than the average)If the to-hit is low the animal will do an average of the minimum and maximum damage. In an even match, it is very rare if ever that a pet hits for its maximum. This may be why your cu-pa out performed the GSH even though the GSH has a higher maximum.
Take a look at each animals minimum damage. More often, in an even match, the animal will deal out an average between the min and max, depending on the to-hit value.
Your BE probably didn't put a lot of points into regen, which also explains why the cu pa regens much slower. The BE probably spent the bulk of points on damage, armor resist, and health. This is pretty typical of most BE's and you can see the results.

I made the Cu-Pa
,and the to-hit, and defense value are the same for both the Cu-Pa and the GSH. It is a default for all DL69's. That is why I am so opleasedby the difference in damage. They have the same 'to hit', and the GSH is listed with a higher max, yet the BE pet does more damage. It should be noted that although the Cu-pa did 384 damage per round, it did it in two hits, both at 194. Where as the GSH hit once for 198.
Velm, I'm refering to a Gaping Spider Hunter.
