As everybody knows, the failures in taming creatures are very high...especially for HighLvl creatures. Last night i was out in the wild....taming a lot of babys to get some abilities. I used my taming clothes (+25/25), Munchies, Jawa Beer and Aroma Screen....the normal stuff at all.
I spotted a thune grassland guardian and i start to tame it. Failure...aggro...runaway and again. This continues 6 times and it begins tomake me angry. So i pull out my bike to get away faster. As i start taming from my bike.....i got the guardian at the first attempt. Hm...maybe luck?
So i go on taming...always from my bike. So what should i say? Around 30 tames...except of 2 i got all with the first attempt. The creatures were between lvl 25-55.
Does anybody has made the same experience?? I think it would be a great help for all CHs, if we could confirm the "taming from vehicle" method as a method to avoid the high rate of taming failures.
Just an info, if you wanna try this.....from a vehicle you could only tame via the radial menu. The toolbar button and the /tame command doesnt work for me.

dont want to put you down but maybe you just had a stretch of good luck? if not this scenario is definatly worth experimenting on!

i usualy tame from my bike - especially stuff that agroes a lot. i cannot compare to the time when i did it "unmounted" as this was pre-cu. but i also get some streaks of bad luck where everything agroes on the first attempt and then i tame 10 in a row on the first attempt.
the only thing i noticed is that some creatures like me (like shear mites - i usualy tame them within 3 tries maximum) and some hate me (like reptilian flyers - even babies sometimes attack me before i even start taming).
oh - and be careful when taming aoe attackers from your bike. i lost one swoop to a bull rancor baby and one to a bloodseeker mite queen baby - but finally got my prices (good old burst run).
