Thats just odd.

Anakin: Master, I think my lightsaber is getting dull. Its not doing nearly as much damage as it used to.
Obi-Wan: O.k. when we're done showing the youglings around the temple, we'll stop by the bazaar and you can buy a new crystal. I hope you've got a couple million credits saved up for this.
Anakin: WHAT?!!?? I don't have THAT kind of cash!
Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!
Anakin: hmmm.... Sharpen my lightsaber on younglings...... hmmmmmm.....
Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.

lol! yes, it is, and has been.

and then there is the wooly hide off of tortons (giant turtle things on rori), scaley hide from pikets (they look furry) on Dantooine,

Not much makes sense....and if anyone knows what animals on dantooine give avian meat,,, please let me know. I looted some from a kunga and it was pretty nice

Well, if you look at a choku the front quarter/half is avian. This is Star Wars, so there are a lot of fantastic creatures that aren't going to exactly fit Earthly standards.

Yep it does seem odd, but the creature does have a beak, so I always thought of it as a wingless, flightess bird. Maybe it's decended from the Mawgawx, but grew forelegs.

i love my frenzied choku. i don't care if its a bird or dog or birddog or dogbird or whatever. it also has the coolest bark...er, squawk

okay, okay.... I wasn't suppose to say anything, but you see there is the dart board labeled with different setting and we just throw dart at it to make these hard decisions.
