Ok I got myself to CH 1214 with more than enough XP to go 1314 which is the best route to go down from here ? I have a pet Mountain Squill that was gifted to me Level 34, but I can only use up to 32 at the moment. Ultimately I want a BE level 70 Kimo and to capture a Bull Rancor.

Part of me thinks go for 2214 next - so I can train some more vicious pets, and part of me says go 1314 next, as I can cycle pets more when hunting then. Currently my Stable consists of:-

Mountain Squill - Level 34

Hurton Huntress Stalker - Level 28

Razorback - Level 24

Malkloc - Level 22

Giant Rat-like-thing you catch on yavin4 - Level 22

Mountain Worrt - Level 22

Bull Bantha - Level 20

Male Mamien - Level 19

Dewback - Level 19

Ronto - Level 18

What do you think will be the most useful tree to go up ? I keep seeing Klixnix babies that I'd like to tame - but when can you tame them ?

Personally i would go to 2214 for the tame vicious skill.

www.swgcreatures.com is one of the best places to go for creature info, has a section that is specifically tamable only for easier access to the info we CH's want.

Your basic Kliknik is lvl 18 and they go up from there so it depends on which one you saw as to whether its tameable and what lvl it is.

Personally, I would go 1414 first. You can buy BE made clothes that give you +25 to taming Wild and Vicious. This would work as if you already had 2314. I would then get the last block in the tree. This tree increases the number of pets you can hold plus give you the commands you can train for XP. The Patrol command is actually three different commands and Formations is two different commands.

Well I gave been on two trips to the Geo Caves since then... Levelling like a CH gone mad...

I took 1314 first, then realised I still couldn't call my mountain squill.... SO I went back, with a Teras Kasi Master and two Master Swordsmen, we virtually cleaned the base out, Force Klikniks, Enhanced Klikniks, Enhanced Kwi, Crazed Geonosians. We killed the Acklay at the bottom, now? Boom- straight up to 3314, I can call my Squilland I guess alot of other, even better creatures too!

Any tips on what to look for and tame next ? I guess I'm still way away from Grauls and Rancors?

Nope, you can tame Graul Maulers now. And low level Rancors. If I'm correct. Graul Maulers are level 35, you have a skill of level 36, congrats.

Unless there are specific skills/commands you really, really want, I found just going up a tier at a time helpful. Most boxes give one or more commands (more commands mean you get more xp for each baby you train) as well as a bump up in maximum CL, so you're slowing yourself down in a way if you try to amass more xp for a higher level skillbox (when you still have lower tier ones available).

It really depends on what your priorities and play style is though. Above all, have FUN!

Every tree I went up so far had a specific ability I wanted 0010 was first so I could trick my pets, then the one that gives you two pets at once - then more storage, then Mount, then I wanted to train vicious,...

Probably nto the easiest way of doing it though - true... Although levelling in the Geo Caves with two Master Swordsman and a TKM, fully buffed - that is easy, never earned so much XP per minute in SWG ever !

Two things to consider:

Training up a line may take more time than lateral box aquisition, but it's easier on your SP supply, and that may become an overridding concern. I know it has been with me ever since I got to the point where I had to give something up to train something new.

Grabbing more boxes in the Training line gets you more storage
