Thread: message about food for pets

I know this question is a bit scout based in general but it also relates to the fact I'm looking to utilise my resources to feed my pets. Can i use eggs that i forage from lairs for anything ?? what are they used for or are we talking chef skills for these? My next question is about milk I see people milking animals and I have done it but what the hell do i do with the milk when i have harvested it. Finally a more CH related topic what do you guys do to feed your creatures - by that i mean do u forage resources or buy creature treats. Also do bigger pets need more food or require it more often. I know these are newbie questions but i am new to ch profession

As for the resources like eggs or milk, sell them if they are of good quality. Chefs, Bioengineers and Doctors all need harvested resources. I usually buy creature treats, just a crate of cheap blap biscuits or protein wafers will work. Bigger pets dont need food more often, food is how you heal your pets wounds. The /trick commands heal mind wounds and mind damage, food and stims heal action and health damage.

Your pet can eat anything you can eat. If you forage and find something like an onion try eating it. If you can then your pet can. If it is something like bait you can not eat it. I do not think you can eat eggs or milk either.

I'm a BE, and used to be a bit of a chef ... chefs can use milk for certain (Blue Milk is a handy drink), and BEs can use eggs at times for Enhanced Myoflex. They can also be used as regular Creature Food, but they're too much effort for that normally.

Just make sure your pats don't get their muzzles on your Muon stash - a trippin' mutant rancor is an ugly sight
