I guess, but it seems that with 15 armored high resist monsters, and blasting away with my acid rifle, I might last a bit.
i can say this from personal exp....ME, a crim razor cat and a GSP took down my guild mate that was a pikesman master type with some doc skills left over. here was the sets up to get the pic
me....unbuffed MCH/MBE like 0/0/2/1 pisotleer
my two cats only the crim razor was full grown the GSP was like about lv20if that
my attacker.......errr i mean guildmate fully buffed like 2300ish on all buffs he got so he had a 3k is ham bar
full comp armor best money could buy
that dam pike are MWS made him(i so need to talk to him to get a better gun)
he said he would just attack my cats in the first round which gave me room to command insted of run my ass off.
as soon as the duel started i spammed my cats SP attacks (key move here) the Crim razor has stun/dizzy strikes the GSP has cripple strike....(can you see where this is going) plus i still have pistol whip as a pistoleer. as soon as my Crim hit the dizzy strike i was spamming my KD and it worked he was on his back so fast he was like your kidding me. i could hold him there due to the one fact he didn't have his anti-kd shot on him. so my cats could keep him down and attack at will with me spamming sap shot. it took awhile with me not having any real combat skills but i won.
the 2nd fight was much quicker due to he took me out first in like 3 shots then took his time with my cats
we can win if we are left alone to command and pick are targets. but most hard core pvp killers will go right for us if they know who the MCH is.
its not easy for us one on one we will lose due to we can't defence stack but as in nature some times the ones you don't expect are the real danger (best example the bullet ant... the size of your pinky nail, packs a bite and sting that is equal to you getting shot by a .357 mag)
im sure there are alot more of us that have learned to work are broken pvp system as CH's so ask around im sure ppl have some nasty combos much better than mine.
im currently working on makeing a third BE cat to work with my two natural ones to pack intimidate and a posion(evil smile), and they used to laugh at me and my cats.......kinda hard to laugh when your on your back crying to get up.

My buffs had went poof already so I popped some synthsteak, canapé, and brandy and brought out my high melee defense pets. They were two Mereks and a Boar Wolf not fully grown but with poison, decease, dizzy, stun and intimidate. Last I pulled out my battle droid to complete the assault team. I still had my 80% melee armor on from my last expedition so I was ok for what they might be dishing out. I really did not plan on getting to close for them to do the classic TKA KD/Dizzy battle tactic. From the time to seeing the overt player to the time I was ready to attack was about seventy-two seconds. My plan was to send my pet/droid assault team in to apply the status affects that I needed to get the flopping fish on the overt player then lay into them with my bleed carbine from a hidden spot. It would be a gamble because of his buddy. If they were not heavy into PvP then the overt would not invite his buddy in or know that they could. If they were into PvP then I would be in some trouble if they could find me.
I was betting the number of pets attacking and the crowd at the port would make it very difficult for them to get a lock on me from my hidden position. Here is how it played out. I sent my pets in with my macro telling them to spam their special attacks on the selected target. It took a few seconds for them to get there due to amount of space between me and the overt player. The first status to be added was the stun from my pet Bacon-Bits. Then the intimidate popped on. By this time the overt players auto attack response had kicked in and his buddy and others in the crowd were yelling in spatial in surprise.
When I saw the dizzy pop on the overt I hit my Charge shot on him and got him on the ground in the first try along with the flopping fish effect. I immediately went prone in hopes that they would think the pets did the KD. The damage from the pets, my shots, and the bleed were pilling on. It was working really well until I his buddy started yelling for a group from the downed overt. I’m sitting there hopping that they wont be able to do it because of the flopping fish but they did.
At this time I decided to put the pets on the new target and come out of hiding. The pets attack the newly overt player and my pets take their sweet time getting that dizzy on them. By this time the first overt is down incapped and I try to keep an eye on them so I can get them as soon as they get up. Luck is with me and they are up in a few seconds so I give my pets the command to attack them while I focused on the other. This is when things get a little complicated. I have a bunch of negative faction against Corsec and who do you think comes waltzing around the corner with murder in their eyes!!! It is only three of them so I take the blows while I concentrate on the two overt players. The original has been incapped again so I focus the pets and my strength on their buddy.
The buddy gets a target on me and is doing some decent damage so I pull out my secret weapon and burst run with the perks of a Master Scout. I pull away from them and zig an zag all over the place so I can clear the dizzy they layed down on me. After a few seconds they are incapped again and I send the pets to the other overt and focus on the Corsec cronies.
At this time I notice a friendly running around tracing my moves and get that they are trying to heal me so I stop running and get a heals. By this time the original overt has been auto death blowed and I look for the last one. I find them hiding in the same place I had started out at. It is a simple matter of setting the pets on them and doing the DB. At this time I feel the need to run and hide because I am weak from the battle and I might become a target to. I set my pets to auto guard me and run into the port and grab the first ticked to the Imp base on Talus. Luck being with me the shuttle is there and I bolt to the safety of the soft ample Imperial bosom.
When I come out of shuttle loading the first overt had sent me a tell that they would find me some day with a smiley attached to the end of it. They are great sports so I send a laugh back to them and tell them that it was a great move inviting his buddy into it. They reply that the buddy sucked since they did not save them. They also reply to me that it was a great sneak attack. We have a good laugh together about it. I relate this story because I feel that played to their individual strengths the pets are a great tool in PvP or PvE. It just takes a little thought and practice till you know automatically what pets to pull in certain situations. Have fun with your pets. Learn their strengths. Learn their weaknesses. Practice all the time and you will start to win more than you lose.

Saying that, I have seen someone do this before in Anchorhead. They came in with like 20 pets all around them. They were actually a bit difficult to kill because it was really hard to keep track of where they were in that big bunch of pets.
But if you have a good combat profession that you can use your pets to back you up (like screechers and bull rancors plague strike) you could put a very nice dent in a pvp battle.
I have been trying to get a bull rancor pet lately and let me tell you, when they hit me with that plague, I better finish them off fast and med or I better start running. 2 ticks of that nasty disease will take over 600 from one of my ham bars. And that is an area disease so will hit anyone close. So if you had a bunch of people befriend you a bunch of screechers and bull rancors, you could put a lot of people in serious hurt (except that 90% of the pvp'ers are TKM and can med it off).
