Thread: High Level Pet?

Howdy all
I'm a MCH on the Bria server. I have about 17 pets (I won't list them all or anything at this point) but what I would really like is a BE'd 'uber' pet.
I've spoken to a BE who said something about a mutant rancor.
Basically, I want a pet that is lvl 60-70.
Does anyone know of any alternatives to it? Or can someone give me some info on it? typical HAM, etc. Also a rough price guide?

I spent on 120K on a level 69 Fambaa (full grown)...it's slow, heavy and only has 1 special, but I just wanted it for the sheer ballsiness 
Neither of us had a clue as to what it's worth so I multiplied its HAM by 10 and stuck a K on the end
High level isn't always the be (excuse pun) all and end all...I have a 10K Ham level 44 BE cat with Blinding Strike and Strong Poison. It's a beauty!
Plus, I actually have to put my taming clothes on to pull out my level 67 BE mutant rancor. Not very useful when you're in a sitaution that you want to keep your armour on (PvP for instance). Hard as nails mind you

Hmmm....
I checked out the mutant rancor on the website above. I like the 14k HAM! (tho that was for a lvl 75 one, I guess it would be lower on a BE'd one).
I guess I just want one HUGE level creature to show off with. At the moment when hunting I use my level 35 rancor and level 35 graul together and then (if their health drops off a bit far) my level 43 kimo and level 25 gurrcat.

Best Be'd pet I've seen was a level 69 kimo. It had like 14k stats, did 600ish damage, and two specials (don't remember what they were). The impressive thing about this beast was that it had several 100% resists. Most of its resists were 50% or higher. Unfortunately it's lowest usable resist was kinetic which was 53%. But still, with light armor and those resists, it was incredible. Of course so was the price tag of 3million credits.....

The BE from who I bought my Clvl70 Kimogila (if not already noted, I'm a kimo fan... I got like, 1 tamed, and 4 more waiting! ) although i don't remember everything, cost me 350K (those were my savings for a new armor... but pets overtake armor ANYTIME! ), and it's very potent. All I remember vividly is that the attack is 610-620 ish, has very good resists and two specials...

Hi, did you know you can get taming clothes that can be worn under armor?

unless you're really wanting a high lv pet, you can get the stats you need, usually in the 40+ range. It seems damage is better in the higher 60+ range by perhaps 50 to 100 points, but the protects are sometimes better in the lower ranges. light armor and 54 to 60% kin. with the rest in the 70+ range, 500 to 540 damage, 10k + ham are the better stat's I've found in the 40+ range. The higher lv pets do around 600+ damage, 13k ham, but the general protects aren't as good, except for kin. Prices on eclipse range from 30k for lv 21 with La and 60% kin to a tad above 200k for the better high lv pets. With rares, including be lv 1's, going for 1 mil and better. Good combo's are a 20ish armored, 60% with damage in the 200+ range with a 40ish higher damage, 400 or so pet.The 2 pet combo works better on some npcs with knock down, pet knocked down, agro goes to you.

Do you have to wear taming clothes to call your level 67 and 69 pets? Does this mean I am buged I have never had to wear any clothes to use my level 69 gurreck.

To call them, no, since it means that you already tamed them.
If you're a MCH, then it's normal that you can call them.
If not, then I'd wager they are still not fully grown. But once you hit the cap of your max creature level, you won't be able to call them anymore, since "You are lacking the skill to control that creature"...
Again, I might not know everything...

Lol guess my wookiee taming bouns is good for something after all at Master. I have been a Master CHfor so long I totally forgot about it. (Back in my day we had to tame 20 miles in the snow up hill in barefeet lol) Sorry feeling a little silly tonight. I usally remember when I make the mistake of telling someone they should be able to tame something lol. I was suprised when I tamed my level 69 gurreck I had been told I would need clothes but hit tame by mistake and poof there he was

Yeah, but I kind of like my Camo Spec Ops duster and matching camo trousers - and what the heck...it's not all about numbers and bonuses and all that malarkey
