Transfer is more handy, since it lets you just tell the pet to go to someone else instead of trying to trade with another player and risk that the trading is cancelled.....

It used to be that pets that were over a certain level could not be traded through the trade window. I'm not sure if that's changed or not. If that's still the case, then you would have to train them to transfer in order to give them to someone else.

I find that training a pet to transfer is much more convenient than the transfer window, but it's not something I think should be put in the master level.

Actually, all you have to do is open your datapad, click, drag, drop. the trade window opens automatically. Everyone clicks accept and the trade is complete. You can call the pet and tell it to transfer but to be honest there really is no difference at all. The skill is pretty meaningless, not unlike many skills you'll find in other professions.

I thought it was useless... thanks for your input. Guess thats just another thing for the revamp.
