Creature Handler Archive

I have played around with the CU on TC-EPIII and I have come to the conclusion that SWG is no longer for me. I have already cancelled my Station Access Pass (I played EQ off and on as well) and uninstalled both SWG and EQ from my computer. This CU IMHO is implementing forced grouping for most professions. Forced grouping and my real life commitments don't allow me to group much. I am a volunteer EMT for 2 First Aid Squads and a Volunteer Firefighter as well as being a daddy to 4 young children. I am often AFK as real life needs me and that is not fair to groups that I do this. It is rare that I have a full couple hours when I can sit down and commit time to a group. Solo play is what I excel at and am very good at doing. All my characters in any MMORPG have been characters that are solo friendly and my reasons have been stated as to why I do this.

In trying the CU I have found that soloing as a MCH/MBH wasn't doable, nor was MCH/TKM. These are the professions that I find fun, with CH being at the forefront of this. I will not go to another profession as no other profession interests me and I feel that I shouldn't just move to a profession that will allow me to solo that I don't find enjoyable.

I'm sure some of you may tell me I am stupid for leaving before the CU even hits, but I have seen the wrinting on the wall in reagrds to solo play and it definately was not looking good. I am keeping my pets in my datapad as I will still pop into the forums every now and then and check to see if things may get better.

I have said goodbye to my guild on Flurry and this is my official goodbye to everyone else including the Lowca BEAST chapter. I am sorry I am leaving soabruptly, but you may know the feeling of if it doesn't get done now, it may never get done and that is how I felt this morning. Milteck, you truely are agood GL and CH and I hope that things pan out for you in the future in regards to the profession that we all love in this forum.

Try WoW. The hunter class gets to use pets like CH. It's a solo friendly game.

Or try Guild Wars. It's very solo friendly to level up. There are only 20 levels, so it's fast to reach max level. Then you spend the rest of your time PvPing in quick 5 to 20 minute group battles.The graphics are awesome.The ranger class can command pets to attack for them like CH. And the necros can summon undead creatures to act like battle pets too.

I've played a hunter on WoW and found it very enjoyable from a CH standpoint. The bad thing is you can only have 3 pets max. But it's still a lot of fun. Best of all, you can solo as a hunter easily and gaining XP isn't a chore. The only thing it lacks is the depth of SWG's CH profession, but it makes up for it in other areas.

You will be missed and understand completely why you are leaving. You were a very honorable member in our guild and constantly went above and beyond for the guild volunteering to try to lead Beast on Lowca. Your presence will be missed in our community.

A statue will be made and placed in our capital city of Galactica so all ch will remember your contributions. I have a feeling will need to make a lot of rememberence statues thismonth

All the best mate. I know what you mean, I cannot and will not give up MCH in the update. Luckily I can always find a little time to group up if that's what it's gonna take, but I will miss the solo hunting with me and my trusty cats. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Maybe I can hunt kreetles!

Ill be cancelling accounts because the devs are asses about grouping and wont allow any1 to solo, but first ill buy some

of them the Expansion, which is a lot of probably worthless money except the JtL part and stand back and c if things

change for the better.
