Ok, was able to get on Chimaera know. After the /cry on pets shoulder in C-net I went for a spin around the countryside to exam creatures. So far I have not seen a single creature, that was untamable before april 28th, that is tamable now, but I've only inspected things like gurrcat etc., lets see with the extincts - off to Endor

Combat testing with pets will have to wait, lol.

say what? I 've seen 20 or more... to many to list that is for sure. heh and i don't think you can tell by inspection anymore.

Btw, MCH here on Eclipse, and so far, the CU is no where as bad as been posted. It's gonna take some getting use to, but all in all, it's not that bad.

Was only on for an hour and half or so before I had to go to work, and I like it. I will have to learn all my specials over again, and play around with weapons a bit more, same goes with armor, food and buffs.

Creatures? I started taking out quenkers before I logged out. Sent my pet rancor up to them, one at a time, and he was practically regenerating as fast he was being damaged. I am looking forward to when I get out of work so I can see what else is going on.

I was up early this morning, had to drop family off at the airport lol. so later when I got back I logged into a server I had an entertainer toon on.

I was watching all the people in coronet who were standing there like zombies trying to figure out the respec, icons game mechanic ...lol it was pretty funny quite a few folks were in a state of hysteria lol.

After my laugh i tried to help a few. one guy was yelling "Is there a csr or dev around have a robot arm and can't get rid of it" I sent a tell explaining how you get them and how to remove it. even went to the med center upstairs to make sure the cubernetics npc was there. I told the guy go get healed up and meat me there. He could get everything healed but action wounds that he had prior to the cu. nothing would heal them, doctors failed and finnaly I said just try the cybernetics guy and dump the arm, and expect a ton of bugs and fixes for a long time. I had to log but hope the poor slob was ok eventually lol.

The curb may not be fun for me anymore but watching, laughing and helping all the confused people was really fun. I think I found a new niche "Jope MCH/RM/CSR"

I haven't respec'd yet waiting for all the servers to be up, will hopefully do it all tonight but so far the curb is at least entertaining me lol.

Just before this went live, on Endor I found aggro creatures well above 50 with pets. Even tamed one, and several that were level 63 or 64 non-aggros (like a Boar Wolf Cub - yep I said a Boar Wolf cub at level 64).

got up this morning download failed..restarted the download 19hrs

lvl 54 post CU BE Rancor fought a lvl 80 guild Jedi. Rancor brought him down to 3/4 health before the jedi dropped him. I was happy with that.

Well, the Jedi was 26 lvls higher, so, with the new lvl system, it is reasonable. But, it was interesting, all the same.

3/0/1/3 BH (plan on working up to tier 4 LLC) this will give me a few nice specials, and the LLC, something to add to my collection.

This is looking very promising.

I feel your pain, when I tried to load yesterday, i got such fun times as:

110 hours

74 hours

44 hours

7 hours

10 hours

15 hours

I finally just settled on a 10 hour load time and went to bed. When I woke up, it was ready.

Well, back from a long session. Ive been to a few planets now and all seem normal, except Endor. On Endor ALL creatures are tamable! I tamed (well a guildie did as I cant seem to tame...grr) a Bark Mite Burrower Queen. Later we got another for him. I also got a Shimmering Lantern bird just for the heck of it... Everthing is just so new, and I havent had much time to test everything yet.

And rarity on Endor seems out of wack too. I got a MDH in the second lair I tried - Ive been looking for 2 months for one of those.

Oh, the Raptor is now level 60 (or so) and IS tamable lol (just need to find a baby now, hehe).

! more thing. I'm a RM and I havent seen anything I cant solo unbuffed yet. There is some flaw that makes some, seemingly low life creatures, be like super critters having up to 300+ combat level and massive health - those I cant solo, lol. Pets are reasonble tanks, I still have to work on that, but as it is now, I dont NEED pets to solo...

I haven't tried high end stuff (but the raptor who was easy with lower DL) so I cant say anything about that yet.

First impression (and second now) is that its not as bad as I feared, but I still feel like its a huge step back... So many things just doesnt make sense...
