I am a master CH and I have a lvl65 Kimo (Biod of course) - has great resists and whatnot and fares well in pve - except that whenever I have a Kimo out - it attacks 10-15 secs After I tell it to (is that normal).
But, in pvp this creature is absolutely worthless against most any elite combat profession - had a TKM incapp this guy in 3 hits! A Master rifleman will incap in 1-3 shots, etc. etc.
What the **edit** is up with that? I know that a bunch of people whined that CH was too common but did it have to be NERFED into total worthlessness in pvp?
Now the At-Sts are being ramped up - no state attacks, better armor, etc. etc. Pets will also be pretty much worthless when attacking these as well.
Is CH destined to be no more then having some pets that can do some uninteresting tricks?

I agree they went too far with the nerf bat on this one. They are really weak for pve too if you want to get down to it. Maybe the combat revamp will straighten things out.
We can hope. I am close to Mastering CH myself and really debated whether to give it up for something else. If it is not better afetr the combat revamp I probably will set my pets free and turn in my pooper scooper

I'm really not much into the PvP, but I will say that against most general creatures (10k to 15k) pets seem to rule, especially if you're not a melee oriented prof like Pikeman or TKA for example...
But if you go up into the 15k and up, and especially the NPCs (i.e. Nightsister Stalkers, Dragoons, sentinals, etc.), Pets help but I'm forced to heal them almost continuously after a certain point, and not get as much attacking in as I'd like... Most of the time I'm forced to run away, heal the pet, and then continue (or finish)the attack a few moments later..
Though one thing that may help me out on the 10k to 15k creature range is that I'm Master Doc,I'm able to buff all my pet's stats by2k to 3kor higherwhich helps it survive much more effectively.
oh yeah.. and if you're wondering what type of pet I use it's a BE'd Angler or Gurrek with Ancient and Frenzied Graul DNA in it. between level 44 to 54... 9k to 10k HAMs
