Thread: Ranger/CH?
I have been a Master Ranger/Master CH for a while and really love it. Try it out and see how you like it.

I am also a MCH and MRanger and really like it. I do have pistol 4 in marksman so can help out my pets a bit, but they are my main weapon.
Traps can be helpful. Glow wire traps make the target vulnerable to attacks, P darts snare the critter and Adhesive mesh traps can root for some crowd control.

I enjoy being a Master CH and Master Ranger with all the rest going to 1001 Rifleman.
I do enjoy using the traps while the pets have the agro, but mainly I use my pets as back up, of course depending on what I am hunting. I get my 3 shots in from prone, and then let the pets pick up the agro, or have them attack after the 2nd shot just to be safe.
Try it out and see if you like it.
I am a MCH and MS with 1,3,0,0 in Rifleman Tree. Concealgives me more of an edge in dealing with high level mobs.
In the past, along with my Medic Skills 1,0,3,4, This combination worked well for me, but since the last Combat Revamp, I've found my Rifleman skills, as they are, to be very little effective. If you are going to lean toward Rifleman at all as a secondary profession to MCH, then I suggest going all the way to Master Rifleman.
I may considering dropping MS and some of my lesser-used Scouting Skills as well as some of my Medic Skills to reach Master Rifleman.
