OK, my Bothan alt who is doing CH until he has to drop it for Chef is looking for CL 10 and below babies to tame and retain on his datapad after he's forced to give up CH. So, he's looking for a minor sludge panther (baby) on Talus. Talus on Ahazi, at least, is still something of a ghost planet, but there are spawn points in the second belt around Dearic where minor sludge panthers spawn. The problem is, there are no babies spawning, ever. The spawn points will, at random, have three critters of four different types out at any one time: the minor sludge, the docile kahmurra, the feeble kima, and the giga flite rasp.
The latter three critters are non-tamable; there are no giga flite rasp babies out there. But the minor sludge does spawn babies, apparenly not at these static spawn points around Dearic.
Any other ideas? I"ve tried the old "wander around in the wilderness" route, but spawns are infrequent, it seems. There are no minor sludge panther missions thatI've been able to find. Durbin of course has no babies, ever, just adults swarming all over it.

I am not sure if these will help but non-ch members of my guild on Scylla were wanting the minor sludge panthers and as you state they seem to spawn near Dearic and that were I found 2 of the babies I got.
The waypoints were within 1000m of Dearic and are as follows:
-1243 -3240
-1012 -2448
I guild member of mine was out hunting and found a Mire Marauder spawn (actually 2 spawns side by side) and after we took some screen shots of them and killed the spawns we had minor sludge panther lairs spawned in their place and I was able to get another 2 babies from them.
2885 -4046
2774 -3986
I wish you luck and hope these help you out.
Take Care.

Try a large mixed lair of Regular Sludge Panthers and Minor Sludge Panthers. It has been my experience that these types of wild lairs are more likely to pop a baby. Yes, you will be dealing with the red agressive regular sludge panthers, but your likelihood of finding a baby minor sludge is much greater.
The lairs described above also occur a LOT more frequently than an all-minor sludge lair. An all-minor sludge lair is actually a pretty rare sight, more rare than a greater sludge lair.
