somewhere up near the top of the CH tree, add bareback riding. that way a lot of animals that were previously unsuited for mounts or just didnt have the saddles adapted for them could be ridable to CH's only. we could ride bareback on klikniks, malcloks, tuckcats, a whole host of things. not everything naturaly, but lots of new mounts with very little work done by the devs. just an idea. dont recall seeing it before.

I dunno. The spine on a tusk cat looks preeeeeeeety uncomfortable!

In the books nightsisters could ride rancors...why can't we...it would be the ultimate mount for MCH only.

Go post this in Tiggs' mount thread she just started In Concept. Maybe we'll finally get some love...

Well, it certainly cannot hurt to contribute. That's why I threw my 2 Imperial credits in.

Bareback riding definitely sounds cool. I just wonder if that would have art-related challenges of its own? Because every creature's 3D model is different, you'd have to make a lot of custom poses for the player character to make sure his legs and arms aren't clipping with the pets (or sticking out awkwardly in the air).

I think the pair is what he is concerned about.

which is why i didnt say every creature, but things like bagaraset's differ from brackasets and humbaba's just by the colouration of their skin alone. and there are plenty of animals that use the same skeleton as kaadu/carrion spats or cu pa. things like malkoks and torotns wouldnt be alll that different from banthas or dewbacks. and other creastures like klikniks are just screaming out to be mounted. the same code that puts you on a bol puts you on a savage humbaba and makes you spread your legs enough to look like your riding it. it cant really be a vast amount of work ,and as always, this is only an idea that im throwing out. i dont believe the developers read these forums or pay any attention to them. i also know that the devs dont care about what we would like to see in game, they'll add whatever they can be bothered to add and we can lump it or quit. either way the devs couldnt care less.
