Get a ranged pet one that spits like a sand beattle and go to dant and kill high level creatures, and then just before the the creature dies get your pet to attack from the distance, and you will get great exp, the only problem is you need to have a good main combat to do this like tka master. Another good place i found latter on is dath killing rancors you get UBER exp there, but remember take lots of stim packs to heal your pet. If your not a high combat proff find a friend who can take you out hunting.

get a few friends, get buffed, go to the geo cave on yavin. Send your pet in when the geos have 1/4 life. Stay in that first room. The xp is incredibly fast.

I know you dont want to hear this, but macro at Mos Eisley with a BE low level pet.
One pet with over 1k or better health no higher then CL 7.
My level 4 pet was getting 120-140 CH XP per kill and i got to MCH in less then a week.

I got to 2-2-1-2 in a week by getting buffed and heading to endor with a few friends and a CL 10 prenerf pet. I send the pet in, it gets a bite in, then we all swarm the critter and kill it before it can blink. I get 40-50K XP a buff session that way. I tried to macro CH, but I cant get the autotarget command to work. It's as if the command was taken out.

no offense to the original poster lol
but I must have answered 3 of these questions in the last week lol
I think Vert needs to change the guide up top to "Best way to become a CH"

A "Guide to leveling CH" wouldnt be a bad idea. Seems like CH is on the rise again (YAY!) and it would save a lot of us old timers from having to answer the same questions over and over again. How would one go about (Nicely) pestering Vert for a sticky guide?

Im a CH 1111 whats the best way to get exp and master CH?
Most important ... have fun while doing it
.... i hear the word "grinding" too often .....
Good way to gain much xp, is to join big hunting groups ... try to hook up with a CH guild on your server when they go hunting, they can also help you keep your pet alive, and train you during the hunt
..... even when you are in another guild, I think they would like it when you join them in the hunt ....
