will this poof if i try to tame it..if so it's not a big deal..nice to have as a display item, and i will keep it as such..it was only 25k

The notion that these bugged pets are "pre nerf" needs to be put to bed, permanently.
They are bugged, They should be destroyed. They are abominations, allowed into the game by buggy code.

its a prepatch bio pet it has a lvl 1 when it shuld be much higher, it allows a nov to controll a lvl 40+ pet, the devs said someday they shall get to a remidy but they are considered exploits by the ch community

i am aware what it is....all i was asking is can they currently be tamed..or will they dissapear...i don't understand the distain in the ch community..to me it's like a unlimited dot( quickest analogy i coulfd think of)..and you don't hear users of those complaining...i bought it because it is a rare item..not may have them..not because i want to exploit the game

You mean all those pets which don't show level in deed form are actually level 1s or 0s?

I have a 'bugged' Gurreck that I'm assuming isbetween lvl 37 andlvl 40. (I am basing this assumtion on its stats compared to other none bugged pets.) Do I use it? YES, its a good fighter.
HOWEVER I was not able to tame it until I was 4/4/3/4 in CH. (I am now a MCH.) Now it is possible for me to call this pet alongside a 40+ lvl pet. THAT is an exploit. And I agree that players using pets in such a manor should be warned and then punished. I say warned first as Iam not aware of any official post that using abugged lvl pet is considered anexploit.
What other players say I could care less about. I can sit here and list of a bunch of things that I'd consider and exploit... like say, anytime I get deathblown that person HAS to be using an exploit, as I amTHE greatests and bestestest player ever and no onecan even imagine the amount of power it would take to defeat me.
Using a bugged lvl pet on its own is not and should not be considered as such. That would be comparable to telling someone who still had an extinct pet that using that pet is an 'exploit', fore it was removed from the game for whatever reason.
I have submitted several bug reports on this issue and have heard no response from the Devs or a CSR. Until the Devs or a CSR post a message here in the forums, on the launch pad (like they did with infinite charge DOTS)or send me a Holo-mail, I will continue to use my gurreck.
Just my opinion on the topic, flame me if you must, agree with me if you dare.

Yes it can still be tamed. It will be an agressive CL1 for the rest of it's life. One thing I did notice is that the bugged BE pets still maintain their minimum skin CL's when combined with other bugged be pets. Basicallythat means since a BE rancor skin is CL35 minimum, you could still only have a maximum of 2 bugged BE rancors out at a time. These skin CL's aren't noticed when combined with a normal pet, however. That's where the bug/problem lies.

does the pet lvl say 1/0
if so then again I repeat you may call this pet as if it is a lvl 1 pet. even a ch master or not will use this with other pets. I find it hard to believe that they would only use it as though its lvl was correct and only call a lvl 30 pet with it with assumption that the bugged pet is lvl 40.
If any ch could resist the temptation then they area better man than I am. with all our problems in this game it is human nature to justify using these pets during difficult times.
the word exploit is dissected here and unless a dev says it everyone likes to say that "if the game allows it its ok and is legal"
bottom line is if you use a something that gives you infair advantage of a system in place then its an exploit. I dont need a dev to tell me so.
as far as you not being able to tame it untill you were high in the ch tree, this is uncommon even for the lvl 1/0 pets, most are usable with nov ch. there was a time when anyone could use them (this may still be true)
If a non ch could use them all I'm sure everyone would agree its wrong, but since we are ch should we hold ourselves to the same standards we place on others?
sooner or later these bugged pets will be addressed by the devs it will be interesting to see what the communities opinion of them will be.
it seems to me that the older ch's who survived the big nerf share the same opinion and would see them all destroyed and the newer ch's like many newer players use justifications to dictate what is right and what is wrong without looking at what it does to the community as a whole.

why shouldnt a mch use a level 1 pet? It may be exploiting but hey, its a part of the game and frankly when you go into a hard battle with ch you need all the help you can get

Because it's cheating. Because it revives latent CH hatred. Because it's wrong.
