Creature Handler Archive

The past week I have noticed a couple people in and around starports running around, "summoning" creatures and droids. Sometimes your droid or creature will start following this guy around and you can't get him to follow you at which point you store and call again. It's really annoying when I'm trying to get. What the hell is going on?

Yeah, this needs to be addressed. TH has been made aware of the problem, and there was some discussion the other day.

Yes, there is a group of people that use this command on Doctors medical droids to disrupt all buffing. It has been around forever but some exploit board must have posted it again. I am seeing it alot more frequently lately.

hehehe, i use it when ppl put out a bunch of pets and just leave them there... why do ppl leave their pets standing right in the middle of everything??? it just mkaes it annoying...

all you do is /summon them like 4 times, then when they are out of the main throughfair you pet them a few times and they stop following...

hate me if you will but if ppl just tell their pets to stay and leave them there its the same as the AFK spammers everywhere...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.

Sure if its some H U G E pet thats just left there i can see your point, but else..

Then agin i dont see many pets just left behind, i see more bikes without owners then pets.

That pretty stupid. People should be able to leave their pets anywhere they can. It's already been established that they don't contribute to lag, and are no different than a building or fountain just sitting there...not spamming like AFK, a poor analogy. Additionaly, whats more annoying, a pet standing there or six pets following some dipsh*t around spamming emotes. I don't get it. Why is it that all of our nerfs and bugs seem so degrading?
