Now supposedly you can train mounts with empathy 4 but can you trade them without /transfer.
Before the patch you could trade window non ch pets, is this still true?
I keep hearing that people will not be able to use pets higher then 10, but I heard they decided to bump it up to 12 instead, also there was a comment that the FAQ states all players will be able to ride creatures that are mountable, what is true here.
There is a thread here that people are getting options to stunt the growth of mountable creatures when calling them from their data pad, anyone heard anything more about this and what level does the stunt make the creature?

I've tried with several pre-mounted fully grown animals now, and w/ the exception of the goofy birds, it won't let me even pull out nor accept transfered animal mounts (fully trained mounts) over the non ch level. Are they going to fix this? I SOO want a brackaset.
And it simply makes no sense for the world to be populated with all non-ch's swimming in giant chickens.
There are Non-CH varieties of all the mounts... Take a look at the other threads here.
BUT these have only been in the wild since the patch and probablyNONE are old enough to mount yet. Perhaps today or tommarrow the first will be grown enough.
Read the threads, know the animals, and you will have no problems.
Or better yet, find a trustworthy CH that can supply you. Good ones have the knowledge, the pets, and reasonable prices.
I am not a CH but my wife is...I dont think this works now. I think the only way to trade a CL11+ pet, including a mount, is to another CH via pet transfer. I could be wrong...but my wife is asleep and I for one value my life too much to wake her to ask her that =)
The option is all the "lesser" versions of the bigger pets (Lesser Dewbacks, Lowland Bols...blah blah blah) those animals are all CL10 or lower and will let you have all the pets that would otherwise be CH only.

Have you played much in those 3 days? Creatures only grow while you are logged in.

CL 15 and below non-aggro critter pets, right now, can be traded via secure trade without the transfer command.
Any CH type pet (all aggro, CH 16 and above) must have the transfer command trained. You can use the secure trade window to do this, but it won't work unless transfer is a trained command of the critter you're trying to move.
When the December nerf of all non-CH pets takes place, the CL level that can be traded without transfer will be reduced to CL 10 and below.
My guildmates are already making plans for what they're going to subsitute for their cowardly gurrecks, mountain krevols, and rock beetles.
I tamed 3 motley kaadus on patch day. by sunday morning 2 were grown and mountable. the third was still the same size at taming 3 days earlier. it's now half grown. I'm hopeing it will be mountable when grown. My lesser dewback is growning rather slowly too.
