Tame a Rancor with 4/3/2/4?

I theoretically have 50 max pet levels (with tame 4) and 50 max number or pet levels (with train 3 and management 4). Is it because of the Rancor's ferocity? If so, I would need to be a master CH?

4/3/2/4 is 50 Taming Levels and 45 Pet Out levels.

Novice = 15 Pet Out

Level 1 Train = +10 Pet Out for 25 Out

Level 2 Train = + 10 Pet Out for 35 Out

Level 3 Train = +5 Pet Out for 40 Out

Level 4 Mgm = +5 Pet Out for 45 Out

You need 4/4/2/4 to call a Rancor of CL 50. Cause Level 4 Train = +5 Pet Out

When in doubt, check your actual skill mods in game...but the previous poster had it right. You'll need either Train 4 or Empathy 4 to call it/tame it. You only have 45 max number of levels with your current skillls.

Ok, I'm at work right now, so I can't check. I was sure training 3 was +10 for some reason.

Nope Training III and IV are only +5 unfortunately. I made that mistake as well in my original calcs Oh well, I just had to gain another level
