I just got Creature Management IV last night. I've got a brackeset (spelling) in my datapad I was saving to make a mount out of. It was level 15 this morning and may make 18 this afternoon. I did not see the option to train it to be a mount. has it gotten to large to mount?
What is the normal levels to train a pet to be a mount?
Thanks for the replies.
It's probably not big enough to be a mount yet. The point at which the critter can be trained as a mount differs, and it's based on the size of the graphic of the mount more than anything else, as to whether there's a saddle that will fit the model of the mount.
Giant carrion spats can be trained as mounts right after you've tamed them, for example. Savage humbabas are trainable as mounts when they reach CL6. Lesser dewbacks you've got to wait until they're nearly fully grown. There are a couple of old threads around here where the point at which mount creatures are trainable as mounts is documented; you might try doing an advanced search on "mounts" and sifting through them, but the information is out there on the board.
