Thread: data device v. control device

wth happened to me this morning?

I was out taming babies and i tamed 2 like normal ... got a control device in dpad that looked like the babies (vrelt babies). then i tamed a noxious diseased vrelt baby. instead of the "a control device for this animal has been placed in your data pad" message like normal ... i got "a data device for this animal has been placed in your data pad". i looked in my data pad, and sure enough instead of a baby, there was a data device ... does this mean they are really going to fix the entity slot bug on the bazaar/vendors? wow ... would that not rock? i havent tried to put it on the bazaar yet, but as soon as i go back ig tonight i am ....

Some creatures are bugged with having the whole mechanical device thing. It's just like a control device though. Shortly after release I tamed a mutant baz nitch that was like this. And other pets like reptillian fliers just have a box with a question mark on it for their image.
