I see most Wookies are CH. But I dont understand why. I know they get a bonus but what does this bonus mean in gameterms. Are there some creatures that are Wookie CH master only? that have a CL just above the non wookie CH master cap?

The wookie bonus applies to the taming mods, not the the max CL, so all races have the same Max CL along the tree. This gives the wookie a chance to tame a mauler or rancor before other races could.

the bonus wookies get is for taming. There is a hard cap of CL 70 for any master CH. But a non wookie will need to buy some BE taming clothes to use an aggressive pet over a certain level. The wookie (with their innate bonus) can go to CL 70 on agressive creatures without buying BE clothing.

Note... for non agrocreatures a non wookie MCH can go to CL 70 without any help.

The taming bonus also helps in taming all critters easier... so wookies have an advantage from the start.... but it's one that any one can get if they buy those taming clothes from the outset.

why do wookies get this bonus, dont you think a little baby creature would be more scared of a huge furry beast than a fair looking human?

Wookies get a bonus because they can share their fleas with their pets so the social bonding is higher!

Wookie gives Ikopi 10 Fleas Ikopi Loves Wookie 10 times more!

Since fleas bite and any pet I've seen that has fleas is very uncomfortable; I would think that would be a negative not a positive.

Perhaps this it the scenario you meant:
Ikopi gives Wookie 10 Fleas - Ikopi loves Wookie 10 times more because now Wookie is suffering just as much as Ikopi!

Ok as awookie it's pretty simple. Wookies have no armor, are generally vunerable in every area so, the reason many are CH's is it is like having armor and a weapon that actually works.

Take the Bowcaster that is a wookie gun, totally useless in other races hands, but a well made bowcaster in a Wookies hands,............well it's totally useless too. Hmmm bad example.

Ok CH now a wookie gets to tame a graul faster so now a lower level brawler runs into a wookie with his Graul and well kicks his a$$.................. oh that isn't such a good example either cause either the graul ran away autostored, or died in 5 seconds.

OK I got it a wookie becomes a CH/armorsmith so he can make really great armor that he can't wear which means he ummmm........... nvm that isn't any good either.

Oh OH i got it he becomes a chef, yup a chef and a ch and he goes out and tames creatures so he can cook them. There that is it. The benefit of being a wookie CH is you can make better creature stew. YUCK.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

Well ya see these are special fleas, the more fleas you have the greater social bonding you can have with your pet. They just sit there for hours grooming eachhother and eating eachothers fleas.

Dont forget this is SWG fleas are different here.
