Hey all,
Just thought I'd vent a little. So, I have this fairly nice system of running through lairs. Just adopted today. I sit my big ars down in the Research Outpost while my brother, TKM, runs out and does the missions. It works quite nice, if he finds a baby he tells me, and he gets the 23k per mission from being in my group.
Anyways, I hear this shouting from the top of the stairs, he actually got a baby to spawn within about half an hour or play time. I was so amazingly excited, because I would love to get into some PvP, and I know that the Screecher would be awesome in it...
So I arrive on site, Master Creature Handler, pull out my good old scythe blade that I do an almighty 17 points of damage max with. Put on my +25 taming clothes, and + 25 to mask scent. I maskscent and go in. First attempt, fail. So I start the next attempt... BOOM!!! Hilltop Gurreck aggros me. It starts attacking me, it is suffice to say that all I ended up with is a lot of frustration and a screenshot of one beautiful dead screecher baby.
Anyways, hopefully he'll get another to spawn sometime soon. Man are these awesome creatures. 400 wounds per tick...

Sorry to hear. I been looking for one as well. I also been looking for a widow. No luck so far.

Keep looking because they are one of the easier of the rares to find. I have 2 myself on Radient that have a wonderful plague disease attack. Also keep your eyes open for screecher lairs that static spawn and have 5 screechers. Each time I have seen one of those type of static spawns, which are very rare, I have gotten a baby.

Keep after it. I got to see 5 dead screecher babies before I was able to tame one. My partner got his the next day. So, 3 weeks of misery followed by 2 days of glory. Those were good days.
After all I went through to get a Mantrigue Screecher baby, I think the only way I'd sell it is if someone offered me 3 million for it. anyone? anyone? Gads it was painful, and not a few tricks had to be learned to finally achieve a successful locating of a baby and tame. I was plagued about 6 times and spent many thousands on shuttle rides, swoop bike repairs, not to mention - time, time, time.

OHHHH MAN.....I have been away for tooo long. These lil critters were the bane of my existence for awhile. They are nasty! I was hoping they would make these tameable one day.....heh....looks like i'm off to...err....endor I think? Right?
