Thread: Relationship between clone attributes and special attacks?

All,

I've posted these questions on the BE boards; since CHs see more creature behavior "in the field," I wanted to run it by you all as well. Are you seeing any corelation between an attribute and the frequency of a special attack? What about an attribute and how reliably it "fires" when commanded to via training? Dependability, maybe?

Few CH's have any clue what the substats are on their pets considering we have no way to see them. Most of the ones that do know are BE's also. I have both a BE and a CH but to be honest I never bothered to keep track of the stats on the pets i made myself after I finished crafting them. Also as I recall dependability tends to go through the roof on any clone thats been generationalized a couple times in the prosses of breeding in something or lowering CL. If it was tied to dependability you'd think our pets would fire specials very frequently considering most decent pets are second or third gen and dependability should be over 1k.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

Actually all stats decrease unless experimented on, and dependability is one that pretty much nobody experiments on as it has no immediately identifiable effect. But all wild creatures have a dependability of either 750 or 1000. So I doubt dependability matters when it comes to having a special stick, since even wild pets hardly ever have them stick in my experience.
