YES, these beauties do in fact spawn babies. (thats the good news)

The bad news.....

SUPER RARE SPAWN.

I myself have been lucky enough to grab 2 of these rare and REALLY GRUMPY cats. Your best bet is to visit swgcreatures.com and take a look at the map of the reported spawns, then run those wp's every chance you get. They do not spawn lairs and you'll usually get 4 chances per spawn for a baby to pop. AGAIN...rare spawn...babies even more so.

Some things to note:

1) these things will agro ANYTHING withing about 60m or so. THAT INCLUDES THE KITTENS! (be ready)I found my 2nd one by following a trail of dead slicehouds hehe.

2) when you call them they will attack the closest target (red dot or yellow dot makes no difference) so keep em on a short leash!

Now, some folks have said thing to the effect.."Thes cats suck..they are too rare..their resists are too low". I say BLA BLA BLA.

TRUE the resists are lacking BUT I love mine and I use em all the time. As long as you are carefull (as with any pet) you should enjoy hunting with them as much as I do.

I recently saw a great plains stalker, even got a couple of screenshots.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen babies, i love the big cats and dogs i gotta tell you. And for me, taming a GPS would probably be my crowning achievement as a CH, i realize they are not the best pets, seems like everyone wants a bull ranc or webmaster or screecher. but i like the cats and dogs


Anybody seen babies, or rather, kittens of these awesome cats?

Hey thanks Hazar, it's at least encouraging news. Rare is ok...extinct is a bummer.

I keep debating wether or not about dropping CH...but i think i'll stick . reading about these cool tames kind of refreshes all the thrill from my first time, and it is mighty fun whipping out a big cat on something (even if we HAVE been nerfed down) Here's hoping the Rebalance kind of helps out our profession.

I started hunting these last week...

Day 1 - no sightings (even from the swgcreatures.com waypoints)

Day 2 - still no sightings...ah, the lonely life of a true hunter!

Day 3 - SDSS

Day 4 - found a random staticSharnaff spawn (close to a swgcreatures waypoint), took them out, and suddenly...SPOTTED ONE!I and my faithful sidekick "Silverback" (70th lvl Black BioEng Grawl) took him out...then took out his relative who spawned...and then their uncle who spawned...then nothing...and then a carrion spat lair spawned - DOH!

Day 5 - came back to the previous day's spotting sight...nothing.

Day 6 - heading to my hunting location, and SPOTTED ONE on the way! (now I have two known good hunting spots) Took him out, and his cousin, and his uncle...no further GPS spawns after the 3rd adult - and still no babies.

Day 7-10 - came back to the spots occassionally, took out Sharnaff static spawns, no further sightings. I also made my way to Tatt, to look for the rare Dune boar - found a static spawn, took it and it's relatives out (as above), but no babies.

Hunting is FUN! However, it definitely requires maturity of spirit - and patients!
