I was wondering what is the rarest animal out there. rarest meaning toughness, how often you find it. I just got my game but I need to fix some requierments which I'm going to have it looked at. So I havn't even played, but I've read a lot and saw many pictures. I want to tame a Kaduu later in the game because I like Kaduus. How good are Kaduus? And can you put armor on animals?

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

I guess rarest depends on how you look at it.

Bull Rancor babies seem to have the lowest baby spawning rate, but you can get missions for them and wild lairs aren't that rare if you look in the right places.

Great Plains Stalker adults are extremely rare, but if you find one, your chances aren't that bad of popping a baby.

Wild Dune Boars seem to be somewhat new on the CH-scene, and their adults are just as rare as--or possibly rarer than--Great Plains Stalkers. Baby rule would most likely be the same for them.

There are dozens of lair bosses and specialty creatures that read "Tamable: Yes" but these are either insanely rare (as in 1/1000000) or it is simply a bug. A non-boss creature that reads tamable is the Frenzied Graul. I've killed several dozen of these lairs and I know many other people on mine and other servers have gone through many lairs searching for a baby; none have been confirmed.

So as it stands, the rarest confirmed BABY would be Bull Rancor, but the rarest creatures that spawn babies are Great Plains Stalker and Wild Dune Boar, IMO.
