Just my idea, I was looking the other day and got my message with my giant carrion spat to stunt it's growth. Granted, this is a feature that is unique to this animal because it can be a mount and if it grows to full height, you are not able to ride it anymore, because it is too big. Honestly, I think this is a cool idea that would be fun to implement on any animal.
I have a friend that thinks that the graul mauler is cute, not grown, but as a baby. And I have to say, they do seem so, especially when they are walking along and you see them stumble a bit (this could just be a frame rate issue and the picture is studdering a bit on my end.) What would be interesting is that if we were able to tame and train the animal, and then get the option to stunt the creatures growth so that it would stop growing at level 10. Also, have this ability remove the agro rating of the creature so it would be usable by non-ch's, and leave it so they are at the cute baby stage, so it will show that it was stunted. Gratned the keeping it as a baby stage would be difficult, because you would be doing this to mounted animals as well, and I highly doubt you could do this for just all animals by mounts, so I guess it's just a wish thing at best.
I know that they pets probably wouldn't be great for much more than show and tell, but some poeple would be willing to have there cute cuddly teddy bear to pull out when they want, or the cute kitten running after them or such. And with a level 10 stat, some might even be good for low level content, do a degree.
Just an idea, silly, stupid, insain, eh, just something that popped up into my head.

Non-CH's get too much as it is, being able to use pets for more than just mounts. But it would be quite lame to see every non-CH running around with stunted versions of our pets, rancors, grauls and tortons would be everywhere and it would further devalue our profession...

Yeah, I guess I can see what ya mean about that. Was just a thought that popped into my mind. Never said it was a good thought

Instead, how about this.
A CH of any level has the ability to use the stunt growth option. However, said pet will retain it's original CL when stunted, but it's damage and HAM will remain at the moment when the stunt growth command was used. Meaning, that if a Rancor was stuned at CL 10, it's total CL (CL50) would still be taken into account, but it's HAM and damage would remain at the level it was when stunted, so you would still need the appropriate CH skill to stunt a creatures growth, disallowing CH's of inappropriate level using tameables that would eventually "outgrow" it's master's skill...
