hi i just need somthing making clear i'm a human MCH being a master my max level of pets is 70 so why is it that my skill mods say i can tame lvl 90 wild creatures.
another point that if somone knows the answer to it would be greatly apprieated i can call my lvl 66 gurreck withoutBE clothes fine (non aggresive pet)and my lvl 55 rancer (aggresive pet) but i cant call my lvl 65 kimo without BE clothes(aggresive pet)
my skill mods are wild +90 vicious +50 so why can i call a rancer?
and could i use a lvl 90 BE gurreck(non aggresive pet)

caps at MAster CH is lvl 70 no matter what.
Reason you need your BE clothes is the Kimo is a lvl 65 aggressive and the Gurreck is a lvl 66 non-aggressive. I would imagine this is the reason.

your +50 wild or whatever is different from your max CL. Look in with the mods under "max level of creatures," and you should see that it is 70. The stuff you're looking at is for taming creatures. Success rates or something? I personally don't know.

This issue has bothered me for some time, and for some reason the devs will not comment on it. We are supposed to have a max tame/control ability of CL70. Wookiees get a +10 taming bonus as a perk, but is that supposed to give them theability toCALL pets otherMCH's can't, or is it supposed to make the process of taming easier?...ie. you get less "you failed to tame the creature" messages. The +mods to the clothing are supposed to do the same, or so I thought, butinstead the taming mods are used to alter our viciousCL ability. If they'd just get rid of the "vicious" mods, it would make things simpler--a creature could still be vicious, but it wouldn't dictate whether or not it can be tamed/controlled, but perhaps it could show it's difficulty by the amount of failures and aggros...understand what I'm saying?

the taming bonus wookies get, or you get from BE clothes simply increases your chances of taming the creature vs. failure. and that stuff generally helps on your way up the trees, not once your a master. i'm not sure why if your master you have pets you cant call without BE clothes, because i can call mine, but the role-playing aspect of it is, even though you may be able to tame, or 'lasso' a creature and get it home to the ranch, it takes a true master to be able to train and command the creature.
also, the wookie advantage was negated long ago by BE clothes, because those mods cap at +25 no matter what. the same every species/professions advantages have been negated by buffs, nerfs, attachments, food, etc.

Some creatures have agression lvls that are too high to tame even at MCH if your not a wookiee, or wearing BE clothes. No matter what, no one can pull more than 70 CL....if you do its a bug
