I am a non-CH, Iasked a guild mate to get me a cupa and a bantha for mounts. He ended up getting both but didnt have the skill to train them as mounts so he just transfered me the babies. The cupa is level 7 (11) and the bantha is 10 (15). I should be able to call the cupa at least, and I should be able to call the bantha at level 10 as well shouldnt I? Im a noob when it comes to pets since Im a DE and only have been using droids up to now.

I would like to eventually have a cupa and bantha that I can use both as mounts, is this not possible as a non-ch?? I thought all mounts were usuable by non-ch's or did that get changed?

As a non-CH you can't call anything that would end up being over CL10 when it's fully grown. That's how the forumla works for us as well. If you can't tame it, you can't call it, no matter if it's CL5 or CL25.

There was a bug for a while that you could call it if it was under your CL capability, so people were able to call babies as non-CH's. To my knowledge that's been fixed now.

There were always mounts that could not be used by non-ch's. The Savage Humbaba comes to mind. When the Dev's decided to add those two mounts they made the wild ones CH only mounts. If you want a mount of each that you can use as a non-ch, your friendly local BE can provide you with one.

You'll have to settle for a BE version. Unless you want a Spat or lesser dewback/bol.
