Thread: Grand Wrixes: Any ideas where to find babies?

I've seen lots of adults, but no babies in forever, any ideas?

ONCE I PICKED UP NOVICE RANGER THEY WERE EASY TO FIND. GET A RANGER TO PULL A MISSION FOR THEM AND GIVE YOU THE WAYPOINT.

I just waypoint the lair with the adult, run 500m away from it, and then run back so it keeps resetting. Good chance of getting a baby that way if you don't feel like whacking the lair.

I always found many wild spawns of mixed Wrixes betweenKor Vella and the Rebel Base. I didn't get mine there though. I got my first one on a Talus random spawn, and my second on a island outside Coronet as a mission lair, my friend got his first from the same lair.


Ranger tracking does help. You can pull missions from Coronet for Grand Wrixes and you can search for the random spawns up near KV. You shouldn't have any problems. I also have seen a few near a PC east of Lord Nyax's compound near the center of the map. Of course this PC was on Eclipse, but east of Nyax is a nice place to look.

They seem to really like woods, if that helps, especially in the north of the planet. I do see them around Nyax's a lot though.

Yeah, I had gotten my first Grand Wrixes months ago in the high country out by the Rebel Hideout.


I'll keep working that area then. Thanks for the ideas about the lair pulling. That might just do it.

Are on Talus also.

Just saw GW baby last night NE of Coronet. I'd seen your post earlier so wrote down wp. If I'd had room on my datapad, I would have tamed it for you Waypoint, though: 2468, -4807.

I used to find them around my house which was 2 km west of Kor Vella all the time. The previous post about the area around KV between the town and the Rebel Hideout was good. I've also found them northeast of Kor Vella on the south side of the river.


I also use the trick of waypointing the lair and running away and then back. Usually I use that to get merek harvester dna on Endor but it should work.

i just picked up my first one tonight just 2k south east of coronet
