Ok, I took a break from this forum because the useful feedback from the dev team had seemed to shrink to a quantum level that defied description ...

Now I drop back in to see if TH posted a new "19 Answers" after E3 and ... nothin'. Did he ever post another after the first 2, or was the entire follow-through on that project that was going to be "weekly" a grand total of 38 relatively vague and useless answers?

He and the devs despise the CH class. Don't hold your breath.

Kzinn, I'm actually surprised you expected more. I thought you knew better.

Holy cow, if I were managing this team the very first thing I'd do is make sure everybody knew that from now on, we were not only going to quit failing todeliver on our promises to customers, we were going to wildly exceed them to make up for past failures.

"If you promised 19 answers a week, TH, you're going to deliver 30, every week, Monday morning 8 am EST, and we're not going to miss one week for the first six months, I don't care if a tsunami washes away your house and an asteroid leaves a smoking crater where this office used to be, there will be no excuses."

Not to single TH out here, he is just following the all-too-familiar pattern of recognizing a customer issue, promising improvement, and then letting a lack of resource force him to ignore ever making the promise. But a good manager would be changing this pattern day one, day two, and every day thereafter until long after the SE is released, if they want to rebuild even a semblance of customer confidence.

it's always better to leave someones image of you alone than to go and reinforce it further...

People thought no one cares.... then someone says hey, I care. let me show you how much I care.... then they forget about you... yeah.. We get the picture guys...

If someone were to create a MMORP game and they value Customer service #1 they would not be able to keep the servers up because of the overload of players rushing to play!

I believe TH learned his lesson that the answer "combat rebalance" does not placate the masses. Why bother with redundancy if you know its not working.
