*panting* Okay, let me catch up here . . . n00b, n00b, no, yes, no, dumb idea, congrats!, great idea, read the FAQ, no they're not listening, n00b, wait for the rebal, because TH is a moron, n00b, 'grinder, no, no, yes it's still broken, no, no, yes.
Okay, I think that covered most of it.
*whew*
OKAY, now that I'm back, I need a new server to play on! I decided to put ol' Shabhaii into storage (I've been a year on the same character with the same people doing the same thing) and play an alt for a while, perhaps eventually making it my main or replacing it with Shab when/if character transfer becomes a reality. Of course the alt will be another CH, so I'll still be around here harrassing the hell out of all you people, but where should I go? Starsider, Chilastra, and Bria are right out . . . I hate egos and attitudes and I know enough people on those servers to know they have that in spades. And no, I didn't mean you, Vert.
Naritus is also out because that's where my husband's character is, and I don't want to deleate it on him or play his.

Bloodfin is working correctly now. *remembers the days when rollbacks were the norm* I've got a good city and guild you can join if you are a rebel.

Shabhaii,
Feel free to join us on Shadowfire. Of course we have a few egos, but we have many great, friendly people who will bend over backwards to help others out.
Wherever you end up. I wish you the best of luck and great success.
Good Luck to All,

LOL, I remember the Bloodfin problems . . . when they brought that online with the rest of the Beta servers it had a lot of issues. It's good to know people stuck it out. Unfortunately I don't think I'd be taking a combat side in the GCW; I just don't see that there's a point yet. I like PvP (and did quite well with it in UO) but there has to be something to actually gain, and there isn't anything in this game to obtain other than a TEF and the opportunity to die by a live person instead of an NPC.
How is the Shadowfire population going? I made an alt there for one evening once when Scylla was down, and I remember the people there were extremely nice, but it was also very very empty.

I have a TKM/MD I play on Tarq that would love some CH company. I am bored and tired of rare hunting on Chilly. People are nice and most are combat/loot related. I would be willing to help you with buffs and CH hunting. Liberty City on Corella is a nice place and the people are real helpful. Give me a tell or email if you come here and I will get you up and running with what you need and help you get leveled.
In game name is Tsam.

Well, I made my new character (also Shabhaii, and another female wook; just can't give up that CH bonus while I'm leveling again
) on Lowca. The folks there have been great so far, even though I did have to chew out one guy who'd been playing for about a month and teach him the difference between a wild lair and a mission lair.

Shadowfire has many nice people. I had an alt on Corbantis for a bit, and I met many rude people (though I am sure not all of you are :smileywink
. The population in Shadowfire is growing. There are always people in almost all of the non-player cities, except for cities like Resteuss on Rori and such, (although the player-cities on Rori almost always have people in them). When I was new, I had many people help me. A creature handler saw that I needed scout xp, and took me on a hunt on Dathomir, we hunted engraged rancors and such. Another time, someone stopped by my camp while camping and we talked a bit and he said I could send him a /tell if I ever wanted to hunt with him, and I have. There are always noobs and experienced players in Mos Eisley (the now auto-start city), so they can help out the noobs if needed. Shadowfire is not really empty anymore, in my opinion. If you know about certain places, like Fort Tusken, which can might have 20 people at once there, or2 later at night (in the early hours, like 3AM-10AM EST), if you need xp. The major cities are always packed, like Theed and Coronet and Mos Eisley (Mos Eisley in the day mostly). There seems to be someone in the non-player cities all the time, and there are many guilds that exist, I am still hearing about some new ones. There are guillds for every kind of person, rebel, neutral, imperial, combat, crafting, etc. I think Shadowfire is a great galaxy with a good population.

Okay, you guys are REALLY making me regret not heading to Shadowfire, LOL. Maybe I'll drop a character there too.

And Cudayn, I'll try getting ahold of you . . . I'll be looking for a ridable so I can at least get around for a bit, if you know anyone who might have one.

Welcome back, and by the way Eclipse rocks.
Anyway, good to see you are back. Are you going to start a new Diary thread leading us from the beginning of Scout up through MCH? Huh? Huh?
Oh and on that teaching a noob the difference in lairs. I went out to collect DNA from a mission lair of Bark Mite Burrowers, and this stupid Jedi jumps off his speeder and just starts attacking everything in sight while I am just getting off my mount. I ask him what he is doing, he didn't understand me as I was speaking rodese, so I asked him again in basic and he said he didn't know it was my lair. All the time he is hitting the lair. Well about 6 or 8 of these Burrowers pop out of the lair and 2 agro me right away. I take off running with my Rancor and my Mountain Dew and my Probot trying to get these guys off me. I get about 40m from the lair so I could tell which mites were on me and my pets and which weren't. My Probot goes down, then my Dewback. I go down shortly after and my Rancor gets taken down by 3 of these guys, luckily the only one left on him for the final blow is a worker so he didn't get DB'd, Rancor still at Vitality 100, whew. I get up from incap and gather my pets. I walk over to the lair and there is the Jedi still standing there hitting the lair. I stand there 15m away with all my pets and watch him take out the lair without caring about me or my mission at all.
Boy do I hate Jedi, good thing my Rodian thinks all Jedi are bad and that they are all witches. This little experience has definitely made my decision for me. After dabbling in BE I am going to Dabble in BH and see what I can take down.
Sorry got off topic, good to see you back

You know, I might just do that. Actually I'd add it to the one I already have, since that's "my" diary, not just the diary of one character. Getting bushed, so I'll start that one tomorrow.
