Hi. I've done searches and checked the stickies but can't seem to find the answer for question:

(please forgive me if the answer is out there somewhere and I missed it)

Can more than one CH train a pet?

I have a bantha that a CH (not a master) friend trained a bit for me. Just basics:follow, stay, store, trick1. Now I want her trained as a mount and agreed earlier to let a different friend's CH get the xp from it. So since my bantha has already been taught a bit by future CH #1 can I still have her trained as a mount by future CH #2?

I thought you could but then heard you can't, that it has to all be done by the same CH. True or no?

The pet can be taught and re-taught by anyone, as long as that person is the current owner. The CH can only teach or re-teach commands that he has access to, though. For example, a Novice CH wouldn't be able to re-teach the Group command... even if the pet was already taught Group once by another CH.

A pet only gives XP the first time it learns a particular command. So if you train it Attack and then trade it to another CH, that person would not get XP for re-teaching it Attack.

I was so scared poor CH#2 wouldn't get his xp because I let CH#1 train her a bit. I did make a promise after all.

Yep, your friend won't gain XP for the four commands it knows, but will gain XP for any new commands.

BTW, my RL 4 year old thinks that because I play a wookiee in the game, that she must be a Bothan. Any time a Bothan runs by she yells "There's me!"

My 5 yr old girl thinks my bantha (I really gotta come up with a name for her!) is as cute as I think but thinks I really need a boyfriend in-game.
