Yesterday I decided I would start looking for rares, top of my list 'Great Plains Stalker'. Corellia, cheap travel, nothing hugely deadly to bother me sounds great. I started at 2pm GMT and went straight north of Coronet. When looking for spawns I set an area using 4 waypoints to create a boundery box, then inside the box set other waypoint at areas i'm drawn to on the map. This sounds silly i know...and yes i'm getting to the sad part.

At 3pm I was flying around on my swoop getting bored, thinking of giving up (never did have much patience) when on the radar a single red dot, nothing around it for 256m, i turn towards it and press tab. 'Great Plains Stalker'...WOOHOO jackpot! Sad bits coming.

I kill it and hope that a baby spawns...it's another adult oh well, i kill that too. While waiting for the third spawn some wrix appear behind me, one mottled which agros me as i fire the other all wun over for a bite of my legs too. Not being buffed my health starts to drop so using PointBlankArea i begin to dispense the Wrix' then on the second PointBlankArea (sad bit now) a 'Great Plains Stalker (baby) spawns. There i am PointBlankArea-ing and what gets caught in the shot...the baby.

I stood and watched the baby corpse vanish and another adult spawn. I killed it and waited patiently but nothing else came...at this point I wanted to cry like a big girls blouse, but kept my composure and reflected on what had happened...and now i need a new mobile phone and someone to re plaster my wall. After my girlfriend had forced me to clean up i got back on my swoop and began my search again.

After reading the rariety of the GPS's i thought that was my chance, my one chance and i blew it! A guild member said they have been looking for ages and never seen an adult, let alone a baby...as if i don't feel bad enough already. Needless to say i kept looking all night, but to my surprise i managed to find a furthur 2 GPS spawns...no babies but all in all, aside from the baby killing i was happy that they weren't impossible to locate like i had been led to believe. Yesterday i killed 11 adult Great Plains Stalkers and 1 baby...

Today i picked up the search and have located another spawn, killed 4 adults again...no baby.

So in all i've killed 15 adults to 1 baby (am i lucky or unlucky?)...in 2 days...and made myself feel stupid in the process, but i was has anyone else done anything this stupid or just me? You may now flame or do whatever you wish...thankyou for your time.

I'm sure you can't getmission for a GPS. My suggestion is to keep what you are doing. Do GPS even spawn a lair? Find a lair and tap it until a baby tumbles out.

No Unlocking, now another year of grinding to get my Jedi.

I've now killed 23 adults and still only seen 1 baby...

Hopefully tomorrow will be my lucky day, hopefully i will finda babyand won't kill it.

thats not sad, 1 time i found 1 of those uber arachne babies (forgot name) and i go to tame it... and boom I REALIZE ITS NOT MY CH FILE!!!! i was about to cry cause i had spent about 2 weeks in the other file looking....
