does anyone have the problem of there pet just disappearing?
when i got to my control pad and click on the pet... it says "store"
so i tried fighting with the pet after he disappeared..... and he wouldnt attack (basically he HAD actually disappeared)
this is happening a lot. is there something i missed? is there some limit as to how long these pet can attack at one time?
i'd really like to know instead of wasting my time on CH if going to be attacking things and my creature keeps getting ripped from me by bugs

The problem is the pet is getting blocked someone, and this could be multiple pets, another player in the same general area, multiple gangs of creatures attacking it. I have seen my avians have less problems with getting blocked, so I keep one avian out as a backup for the ground grunt.

no matter what planet i'm on, or what i'm hunting... it hasnt failed.. they disappear
my spineflap handmaiden was the most... now my Greater Sludge Panther is starting to disappear a lot now

Until this past week, I hadn't had the disappearing pet problem since 2003. My pet has disappeared in the middle of combat several times in the last few days. I am a master CH, so this is a major problem for me, as pets are a big part of my fighting ability. Speaking with a commando friend, I equated it to his flamethrower disappearing in the middle of a fight.
This bug must be fixed.

Yes, this is serious. I just took a silly death cause my Merek poofed. Equipment decaying, having to travel to get to med center/cantina to heal, really put me out.

I've had this happen to me as well.
I thought this bug had something to do with using pets in combat on a server boundary?

Are you walking away from the pet? Sometimes my petr will disappear from my radar when I walk away from it, but once I walk back to it, it reeappears.

I have been having this problem everytime I use a pet on Dantooine. Only Dantooine though, and its most common with my graul. With her, it happens everytime I have her out, and with my other pets, every two or three times. I've been killed twice by mokks because of this pretty little bug. I haven't fought with my pets in a few weeks because of it. Not until I hear its been fixed.
