I wonder if Bio Engineers could Enhance creatures we tame? That would create a win win with the MCH and BE no? Then, make it where we could sell our pets on vendors. Maybe this has bene talked about already, not sure...

Thinkin about homies thread that says we would hurt thr BE business (which I care nothing about) it is always a good idea to look for win wins.

What do you guys think...

I think it'sbad that BE's can make bigger better, lower pets than what we can find in the wild. I understand the thought behind genetic mutation and enhancement, but let CH's have some sort of edge. I guess one difference is that BE's are more of a crafting profession whereas CH is more combat.

The BE/CH relationship should have been this way from the beginning. CHs tame wild animals, BEs enhance them (color, resists, inherent armor up to AR 1, HAM, etc.), and armorsmiths make external AR 1 pet armor.

I have no problem with BEs being able to make great pets, but the gap between BE pets and wild pets is ridiculous right now. I definitely agree thatBEs should be given the ability to enhance wild pets. 5 stars!

It won't be a win for BE's to become pet image designers.

well, here it is:

Who are you selling these high end bio engineered pets to? There are not that many creature handlers out there as it is to buy them. Bio Engineered Clothing is a hotter ticket on Kauri than anything else and noone makes pets anymore because there is no reason to make pets anymore. There aren't any creature handlers to buy them.

Seriously, I have a lot of bio engineer pals and none of them make pets for anything other than fun. Bottom line is that BE took

"I refuse to support ideas that help out one class at the expense of the other."

^^ alright, dude what don't you see here? When they nerfed wilds, and made it where bio engineers were able to make stronger pets than wild ones, it helped out one class and at the expense of another. When vehicles were introduced, it helped out one class and at the expense of another. It is gonna happen, if you earn less money, I don't care personally because it should have never been your money to earn in the game to begin with.

As for being the armorsmith for CH, no.Armorsmiths are the amorsmith for Ch just like everyone else. Creature handler has the best content in that we can go and get our pets ourselves. The tamed pets are not looted, they are searched for and harvested like ore, meator DNA.

My scenario would be perfect for you, go tame a leet critter, then BE it. Get it sliced by a BE so to speak.

I heck I like BE pets but I would rather go get my own. The BE destroyed our only earnings potential.

I want some of that back, personally and if the BEs feel badly about it well, tough. I just want to be able to sell what I tame.

BEs took nothing with the creature nerf. BE pets were nerfed right along with wild pets. The BE fix was totally independant of the wild creature nerf. You are looking at it from one side and since the CH nerf and the BE fix happened at about the same time, you have developed a hatred for BEs. It is a misplaced hatred. As for myself, I only make pets. I don't make a ton of money, but if I wanted to make money I would have become a chef/BE or a weaponsmith or an armorsmith. Sure, there is money to be made for BEs if I wanted to be a slave to some chefs. But as meat prices keep rising, the profit keeps shrinking because most chefs either know a BE who will give them cheap schematics, or are BEs themself. And don't give me crap about tailor tissues being a money making deal. There is a bit of money to be made there, but there are only a few types of tissues that are used and no one needs to buy those clothes more than once. I wear the same mask scent clothing that I had a tailor friend make for me right after the BE tissue fix that allowed them to be made in factories. BE isn't a big profit crafting class, it is a fun clone making class. Half the lines are dedicated to making clones and just one for everything else. Make tamables better than clones and you might as well do away with the BE class.

well, sorry dude, you can't have the world. (this is assuming anything will ever change for the MCH) So knock yourself out while you can. MBE/MCH is probably not the best combo if you wanna make money. If you aren't making money anyway, there is plenty to be had.

My be friends make a load of cash and sell pets for like 10k tops (that hardly anyone buys) and are multimillionaires.

At any rate, I doubt many people on the forums will feel too badly about the "plight" of the MBE right now.

At any rate, until a change is made, enjoy your BE class. But, whether you see it or not and whether or nopt they were directly related, one definitely affected the other BIG TIME.

Well, I will put it this way. Before everything happened, I never bought a BE pet, afterward I bought 15 to try to stay where I was on the combat scale. That is pretty interdependant if you ask me.

I like this idea. I wont ever buy a BE pet... i just have to tame my own. Personal thing i guess. But if i could get my pets enhanced by BE's, now that is something i could probably do. I think this would strengthen the relationship between BE's and CH's.

No one suggested that we turn BEs into pet image designers. We're suggesting that BEs be able to enhance the armor, resists, color, etc. of wild pets. I'd think BEs would like this idea since they'd gain a new function and new business. Right now,I know a lot of CHs who refuse to buy pets from BEs because they'd much rather tame their own (myself included).

Are you a bio engineer or something? Let's see, bio engineers CAN change the color of the pets they make. That is about the ONLY similarity to image designing. Bio engineers have a thousand other products? Are you just angry that noone agrees with your point of view? Your mistake (easily made plural)is thinking that pets are all that bio engineers do.

If you are a bio engineer, go trollTHEIRforum.... I feel like i am a king mackeral here. It really sounds like any discussions that might detract from what BEs have already taken from us you are against. Anything thta might hurt you in the slightest, and help the rest of the CH community sounds like a bad idea to you eh?

I am an MCH/MBE. CH was the first skill I ever mastered and I have never given it up. I can see these arguments from both sides, can you? I think CHs need more pet variety, I just don't think everything 70 and below should be tamable. I think there need to be many new creatures introduced (especially in the higher level ranges including a few level 70s), but I don't think they should be better stat wise than the best a BE can make. BE is the weaponsmith and armorsmith for CHs, and they should have a superior product. CHs on the other hand should have some unique pets and I think they need to increase tamables with ae effects (which BEs can't reproduce in the lab). I want both classes to be fun and viable, and I refuse to support ideas that help out one class at the expense of the other.

As for how many products BEs have, you are sadly mistaken. They have the tissue line with chef and tailor tissues. There are about three chef tissues which can be made at a modest profit (although you pretty much have to farm your own meat since chefs and docs drive up meat prices and chefs don't want to pay you too much because it cuts into their profit). There are a few tailor tissues which sell a bit, but not to repeat customers since clothing lasts forever (not to mention that some of the tissues take resources that are a pain to get in large quantities). Then there are pet stims, and vitality packs. That is is for the tissue line. Everything else BEs have revolve around making clones. Two lines are strictly for cloning, one line is the tissue line, and the other is for exp points which are used for all the crafting.
