Who here thinks the regen everything sucks? I do, it takes me 3 or more minutes to kill a SCYK at TKM and MCH. This is just plain stupid

let me clarify what it is like, you are killing something, it's helath bar is halfway down, then suddenly it is full.

Currently it is very odd. I wouldn't mind some regen, but it is very very nonfluid right now, the health bars jump from near death to 3/4 full with no gradual buildup. I don't know if this is lag related, or if everything doing regen checks puts a big load on their DB, or what.
Hopefully the rate will be toned down, and the updates will be much more fluid. Both on creatures and players... The health regen of your own character is pretty nuts too.

There are certain attacks that you'll hit them for llllll they'll regenerate lllll and that only for special attacks. So you hit for 6 of 10 and they regen 5 of 6 of it. This is totally insane
and dumn. And it increases for like a Rancor, you can't damage it because the thing regens like it hooked up to some instant bacta shot machine. While a mere Scyk should die in few hits take me much longer. Unless the rancor's ultra-healing is part of it not being balanced yet it is almost impossible to kill now.

I'm not sure but there also seems to be some lag in the HAM bars right now, for instance I'll be down to 10% health, hit a stim, get healed by the stim, then instantly be incapped because the creature hit me before I healed but the server just now caught up. So I basicly "virtualy rubber band" back to the moment in time just beofore I healed myself.
The lag may be caused be heavy player load in certin areas, I'm the only user on a DSL connection so it can't be that slow.
I wounder if the HAM lag is part of the reason the regens look so out of wack.

I noticed this mob HAM problem the other day, right after they came out with a new publish on the CU test server.
The enemy's HAM would jump all over the place, than all of a sudden it would be dead, and still have about a quarter to a third of its health showing.
Obviously a bug, hopefully it'll go away like all the other bugs that have been flying around SWG's light for the past couple of years.
Oh wait, I know, it'll be addressed by the next CU.
Sorry, bitterness got the best of me, and I know there are many people playing SWG that have been bitten by these bugs way harder and way longer than I have.
The CU is a work in progress, with a very unrealistic deadline set most likely by the marketing nitwits at SOE to tie in with Episode III and all that. Remember, some very bad game releases have been because of marketing, not because of the hard working programmers who wouldn't release such half baked programming in their right minds.
