I purchased a dewback last week to use as a mount. When I got him, he was level 1 and much too small to ride, so I have been letting him run around with me to grow up. He hit level 10 this morning, and is certainly big enough to ride, but I don't get the option from the radial menu. My guess is that the CH I bought him from forgot to train him to be a mount. Now, I have grown quite attatched to him since I got him last week, and I'd rather not give him up. But I still want to use him as a mount. Is it possable to have another CH train him as a mount for me, or will that push his level up and make him completely unusable for me?

You can find any CH with proper skill set to train your pet as a mount, and your pet can be re-trained in any skills at any time by a CH that is able to train them. The CH you bought your pet from didn't forget to train the pet, as we are not allowed to train mount to pets until the pet has reached a certain growth "age". If you received the pet at lvl 1, the CH wouldn't have been allowed to train it mount yet.
