With all of the issuessurrounding grindingpet xp, I thought this might make for a compromise to help mitigate it.

Allow Creature Handler XP to get traded in for pet XP. This could then be applied to a pet in your data pad.

This isn't a perfect solution by any means but it might help.

There are systems existing in the game to do this (Force XP) and it would help reduce the amount of grinding for CH's to train pets.

Just a thought.

That does sound like a pretty solid idea.

It would especially help with those High CL pets and Maturing Mounts for others. Especially once at master lvl.

does seem like a pretty good idea since i got that 1.2mil xp stored up and can't use it but they would need to keep the ratio at 1:1(or something very close) since it isn't very easy to get that xp

I'm not sure if that's such a good idea we'd be gaining both CH xp and pet xp from grinding. It would be way too fast.

How about they completely remove CH xp gains from combat andthen compensate by modifying either how much xp you gain from tames and training oradjust the xp costs for CH boxes, or both. I don't think it makes sense to get better at taming through fighting with your pets, it should be separate.

I think this would help because then the only combat grinding you'd have to do would be to train your pets. The CH xp would take care of itself as you tamed creatures to learn their innate abilities. Hey, this would also make it so CH xp doesn't interfere with gaining other combat xp for secondary professions.
