Thread: Calling out to the CH for a better game tomarrow.
- Test Center Prime has never been wiped. TC-Prime is geared towards operating like a Live server and has never had a database wipe. Wehavehad a number of vendor loss issues, due to mothballing, but for the most part, the database of Test Center, including characters, structures, and items, has been intact since launch.
- Youstart out with3 character slotson TC-Prime. This means that you could have a Droid Engineer/Creature Handler/Novice Smuggler, a Artisan/Merchant/Armorsmith, and a Bounty Hunter/Squad Leader/Novice Pistoleer if you wanted to. Three toons per each account gives you the freedom to pick and chose a number of professions that you may not have the chance to play normally.
- TC-Prime currently has double XP. It is unknown if this is here to stay, but there have been a number of rumors that suggest that double XP is on TC in order to entice a few more people to join up. With double XP and a good combat group, anyone can have a fully completed combat template simply by playing an hour a week, for a couple of weeks. Imagine the BLL grind to Master Droid Engineer, with double XP per build.
- /tcpa. Test Center is one of the few places where you can findan active server community that actssimilar toa guild. The population on Test Center is fairly small right now, but more old and new faces have been joining our ranks on a daily basis. Asking around on /tcpa will usually result in you finding what you are in need of, whether it be armor, weapons, an XP group, etc.
Me. Ok, so a verbose wind bag may not be a great thing about joining Droid Mecca, but it may keep you entertained.- Minimal Gank squads. Most of the Test Center population have a written/spoken understanding to not intentially interfer with each others testing process. PvP is generally considered consentual. There are a few places where PvP is encourage, such as Tombstone on Tattooine, however for the most part, you won't see groups of Imperials running around with AT-ST looking for a red dot to pick on, or a Rebel Jedi trying to find a triple incap fix. It does happen, however the rate of occurance doesn't come close to how often it can happen on Live.
- Vet Rewards on Test Center do not count against those gained on Live. This works both ways. You could claim a reward on Test Center, without worring that it would remove the reward from your Live characters.
- Housing
- A city
- A guild
- Etc..
What I am asking of you:
Is to spend some time to support the cause. With you joining in on a regular or a semi-regular time, we can build support and a greater reason to keep TC-Prime continuesly up. With a great number of us continuely there, we can get all aspects of our profession tested out and push for corrections before it ever goes live. We all know how it hurts when something that is not ready is pushed out. I am fully willing to help you out with all the things you need and more. I also have had others giving me their support in even helping you.
You don't have to come here an grind out another toon. If you don't want to test, that is fine. If there is other things that are of intrest and get away from them pawing critters who demand so much of you.

So the only question I have of you is, are you willing to support this cause in anyway you can?
I am on almost every day of the week, but the best days are Sunday thru Tuesday. The rest of the week I am on late do to work for short peroids of time.

The Guild Hall is located in a Town called Friend on Talus. Location is 2812, 1573 which is 3.9k away from Nashal. There is mission terminals there and aways looking for new citizens who would like to join.
P.S. The Lost City of Durbin is just 1.4k way which is a great place to level up lower end pets to learn new skills and grow mounts.

I have had a few questions ask and wanted to add a little more info.
I will help out and support anyone who is joining in the guild, in testing, or if you just feel like being a small part of TC.
The guild will not have any maditory paying to stay in. I will keep it alive and going, but any donations or help is welcomed but never required.
Many will find that TC is a very unique server with a unique community. As stated under the part from Drashk.
Unfortunalty, untill TC-prime is back up (sometime this week) i don't have any more solid information to give. But keep watch, it will come soon.

Right now i can't really say. I so far can gather at least 5 besides me. But since TC has 3 toons, but not will all use there toons that way. And for the fact TC-prime is still not up yet, i can't really give a solid answer.
I truely hope to have a solid answer soon. I really do.
