Thread: Public Service Announcement concerning Bio-Engineered pets.
Bio Engineered pet stats will ALWAYS shift a bit upon taming.
The armor, to hit and defense values are the stats that will adjust themselves upon taming.
These values are STRICTLY dependant upon level.
For example:
No matter what the pet deed says, a BE CL70 pet will always have:
4696 armor
170 to hit
170 defense
In my experience, the stats will shift the 2nd time you call your new pet.

It is so, the To Hit and Defense stats are in CL 69 and 68 that 165, it goes down by 5 points every few CL of the pet what i've seen.
I can verify on the regenration rate being extremly slow on BE creatures now matter how high their rate is. I have a level 70 BE durni that once his action bar is down will not regenerate it until I store him. This is even if he is sitting there doing nothing. I bugged it in game.

Same ... Im both a BE and have a toon with MCH/Mranger.... I have made a set of twins with totally identical stats , but they health regen very differently ....bugged it too
regards
Actually, regen is customizable by the BE. What is misleading is that the value shown on the deed is off by a factor of 10. Meaning that a regen of 64 should set to 640 once the pet is tamed. The variation you are seeing in regen from BE pets you have used is simply a matter of whether the BE experimented in Prowess or not when crafting the pet. It has been reported that BE pet regen (health gained per tick) has been noticeably reduced as part of Pub 21, but I have not personally tried to verify this (been busy taming and learning pet specials
).
Some customers strongly demand high regen on their pets, others are big into aggro bonus (not as customizable as it once was due to DNA nerf), others look mostly at damage or health. Some just care more about what skin it has ![]()
The OP is very much correct in his observations that certain stats do reset to a fixed value based on the CL of the BE pet. This is very frustrating, since I get the choice to experiment in these values, but it is all wasted once the pet is tamed. As a MBE (and MCH), I try always to point this out to customers.
