Can someone tell me how this affects Pet training xp? Is it totally broken?

Bump. Any one know? I logged in for all of 10 minutes last night before they took the servers down. Then When they came back up it was a 2.5 hour download for me. /goodnight... lol

I've been soloing constantly since taking up CH and I haven't noticed any difference with CH XP from taming or when using a pet to fight creatures while grouped with that pet.

I should add that if a pet does not count towards a group total wouldn't more people find a non-CH useable pet that can use some of the new specials a lot more useful and, perhaps, necessary?

I played for about 4hrs today in diffrent settings. the first one was a group of 8. though others were claiming not to get xp, I was getting about 45% of what I usually get..though its bit hard to tell if that was just Ch or both Ch and rifles and medic as I had to help out a few times. later I did a bol layer with one other player, two pets pulled but not grouped, was getting around 85% of what I got pre-pub 22. I then both grouped and un-grouped with three pets on a few BH missions, I got less than usual, but more than when grouped with a player in both instances. my pets were getting xp at around 35%-78% ( take into acount the xp loss when grouped with owner/trainer) of pre-pub 22 durring all of this. Now my numbers may be off a bit her or there, but if things stand as they are, its going to be considerbly harder to not only gain CH xp, but also to level pets and maybe more importantly to learn new skill sets. looks like all combat proffs are about to enter the age of the JEDI grind we all hear about. hope it helps.

Well whatever the calculation the new XP system seems bugged to me. It no longer displays the amount of combat XP your getting, no XP shows in either the combat or spatial windows anymore (it only shows percentages), and it isn't showing medical XP at all.
That's just what I noticed about it so far with my other character. Didn't get a chance to test pet XPs yet.
