Creature Handler Archive

I used a beackaset that wasnt fully grown it was lvl 18 and then it out grown me (currently CL 24)so i used a BE choku i bought but it only was CL 8 (not fully grown either) but when i am fighting enraged rancors on dathomir i get 1500 with the CL 18 pet and only 630 with the CL 8 pet is it because the CL 8 pet is a BE pet or is it because it is of to low lvl?

Any help about this would be apreciated by a new to the profession CH.

It's because the choku was too low level. Every pet has a cap of XP they can get from each kill, so when fighting higher level creatures really low level pets will actually give less XP than higher levels. Usually when hunting a new creature it's best to try a few different pets from your arsenal to which does best.
