Creature Handler Archive

Currently I'm 2224 and was close to dropping Creature Handler because I was sick of the fact that my pets were useless in PvP. I'm already a Master TK and have been for 4 months, I love the profession. I started to feel maybe I needed Master Brawler, and along with my other partial professions I started to think that CH needed to be dropped to allow this transition.

Wellstuff PvP!

I'm keeping my pets, I'm keeping Creature Handler and I'm now going to master it! I love my little Kima (Snooker) and my Jax (Bunncat). I love my BE Rancor (Noodle)and my wild Greater Sludge Panther (Pongo). I enjoy walking the wilds with my Grand Wrix (Alwan)and showing off my Mountain Squill (Spanky) to new players! I endure the taunts that I'm a dying profession and still ENJOY the game. I get tells from people asking me to mount their Dewback and even make a little cash from it (I don't charge, but people still pay me).

Maybe when the combat balance hits we'll be back to what we were,and maybe a profession that others will fear. But for now I will enjoy the greatness that is Creature Handler and keep my pets with me at all times.

Good choice IMO, CH is a lot of fun even if it isn't very PvP combat capable and who knows when the CU comes out itmaybe useful again.
